What? The end of another week already? We're rapidly approaching the last few months of 2015 now, so we can see these articles getting bigger and bigger as we get closer and closer to the holiday rush. Indeed, now's the time to try and get your backlog sorted out before the blockbuster releases start pouring in - but we're not exactly confident that we'll be able to do so.

Who's ready for some Destiny, then? The divisive shooter's absolutely seeing a huge resurgence of late, mostly because people are trying to get their Guardians prepared for The Taken King, and I'm no different. The me of three months ago would be disgusted, but honestly, I'm really enjoying it these days. Of course, the delightful Push Square community is partly to thank for that.

This weekend, I'll be playing a fair bit of Destiny once again, as I get ready for the imminent release of The Taken King. I've had a great time of late playing the game with members of the Push Square community, and worryingly, our Friday night raid seems to be becoming a bit of a fixture.

This weekend will be one of two halves for me. I'll be cramming in some Vita time on public transport, playing through Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair's island mode and trying to get my 50th Platinum Trophy. I'll be using my precious downtime at home to play Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain - my first leap into the Metal Gear franchise. I've only completed the prologue so far, so there are many hours ahead of me as I find what I've been missing out on all these years.

I'm returning to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag this weekend with its substantial DLC called Freedom Cry. I love how you get to play as Adéwalé (Edward Kenway's right-hand man) and see what happened with him after he joined the Assassins. In addition, I think I'm going to start on Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. I just hope the transition from PSP to the PS3 makes the game even better!

This weekend I'll be having a lovely lovely day in Mad Max, exploring the Wasteland and blowing everything that passes me to smithereens. As a challenge I'll be seeing how long I can drag someone around with the harpoon because I'm a horrible person.

This weekend I'll be preparing my Guardians for their journey ahead into Destiny, The Taken King. The recent 2.0 update has added a lot to the game so I've got to get to grips with it by next weekend, ready for the new raid.
That's what we're playing this weekend, but what are you doing? Are you shooting aliens in the face via Destiny, or are you perhaps engaging in some stealthy action courtesy of Metal Gear Solid V? Sit back and relax in the comments section below.

Tearaway, so far good, but as someone who got the platinum on Vita I can't shake the feeling that the game lost a little of it's charm on the PS4.
The controls are a little better on Vita, plus they need to patch some issues, I got stuck 4+ times on glitches and had to restart to the checkpoint.
I'll be playing some Hell Divers. I also might pick up Disney Infinity 3.0. I'm looking forward to the star wars playset that will be released later this month.
Has to be the phantom pain until Tuesday anyways when is the taken king.
Tying up loose ends in MGS V and maybe a bit of destiny. Might give super time force a go if I get time, and still need to finish Galak Z.
I'm not playing anything as my 2 sons will be taking turns playing SMM all weekend and the Mets are on a roll. Good thing SMM works only on the Gamepad so I can at least get the tv.
trying to finish Star Ocean the Last Hope international
Jade's a boss! I'll do just the same, except Danganronpa 2 is actually the first Danganronpa in my Vita.
I've also tried some PS+ games the last few days and have to say, Super Time Force Ultra is fun! I played it on the PS4 but it really looks like it's a great Vita title so I guess I'll be playing it on there, too.
Think I'm about halfway through TLOU Remaster so will probably play through that some more alongside a healthy dose of Rocket League and BF4 with the new night op map
Tearaway, Mario Maker and MgsV, it's been an expensive few weeks, but definitely worth it!
Since I have completely everything I possibly could in destiny I need to find a time sink for this weekend. The wife and child are sick so I will prolly have a lot of alone time. Having never played metal gear besides the original playstation one, is it something I can just jump into, or will I be completely lost throughout? Was also considering mad max but the reviews don't seem to be great, not sure what to play. Might just start up another last of us run for the he'll of it.
Trying to work my way through Bloodborne at the moment, but just coming off of a Dark Souls II binge, it's somewhat difficult to adapt to the style. I might have a few rounds of Hand of Fate in between, which is spectacular, and give Armello a go if I get a chance.
@Johnnycide good game on Destiny last night pal we will level up a tad and give it a rerun!!!
@ShogunRok I think that's when Destiny opens up, there's so many tactics you can incorporate as a team its loads of fun. Everyone I have spoken to from @Wesker when I just joined the site to @Johnnycide last night and everyone in-between have all been sound. We will have enough people soon to run a 12 man raid (like wow) will we see that?
Assassin's Creed Blag flag. My first ever AC! I got it today and I like it a lot.
Also J-Stars Victory Vs+ at my Vita.
Let's see... After I finish up a homework assignment for one of my college classes, I'm going to start the gaming weekend off with some Super Mario Maker, then Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will take up the majority of that time. I'm also definitely looking to play some Destiny and hit the current level cap before The Taken King releases. If I can fit anything else in, it'll be a miracle. I've been neglecting my 3DS so much lately, and so Majora's Mask 3D, Bravely Default, and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team have been sitting in my collection just begging to be played to completion. I also haven't played my other online shooter of choice, Splatoon, in a long time... Ugh. 😩
@Swiket I'm at about the same as you around 20%, what with work and a Mrs (who I'm told I have to spend time with). That and I like to take my time with games anyway so this weekend it'll be more Metal Gear Solid and maybe finish off Until Dawn
It takes me forever to finish a game (work, family responsibilities) so I might get to Arkham Knight. Witcher 3 and MGS5 are waiting.
Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (PS4): I played it before last gen, but decided to pick up for ps4 to replay. Really love this game!
Destiny (PS4): Gonna try play more of this game, even if northbot annoys the hell out of me.
Sonic Generations (PS3): Will be doing the challenges, and trying to get 100% for this game.
Splatoon and Disney Infinity. Got the 2.0 toybox starter pack and I am downloading 3.0 while 1.0 is free in the Wii U eShop.
@themcnoisy I would definitely be up for the raid! Last night was a laugh. We ended up drafting in our mate Muffinjet who schooled us both. Got some decent armour out of it too.
I recently started playing Lollipop Chainsaw (PS3) for the first time, just finished Stage 02: The Stadium.
Still playing dragon age inquisition on nightmare, I'm level 11 now on my first ever playthrough of any dragon age game.hopefully I will ne done by Xmas and get the platinum. 😊
I'll be playing some Destiny for kicks although there isn't really anything I want to get done prior to TTK now. Gotta say i'm a bit bummed as I have an exam on Wednesday so won't be able to hammer the expansion like I'd want to. Then my sister is staying for a couple of weeks as she's relocating here and needs to find a place to live. LIFE EH?!
Some MGS5, and Tearaway
@themcnoisy @Johnnycide That POE is a tough one, I can't remember who I did it with but the fire floor thing is a pain. One tactic is make a bubble and everyone jump up and down inside, floating as much as possible lol
I took a break from MGSV (haven't gotten very far) and am playing through Kingdom Hearts 2.5 because that's what I was in the mood for. Also started Mario Maker last night!
@kyleforrester87 yeah and since the weapon rebalanced it seems to have gotten a LOT tougher. I can usually breeze through but last night was a real pain.
@Johnnycide yeah? I've always found the 32+ poe's a bit of a pain, but I'm not the most knowledgeable endgamer. We had a bit of a tough time on vog hard yesterday, maybe partly down to rebalancing.
I've been sorting my loft out ready for moving house. Dug out all my old consoles and been firing them up today to see what still works.
Got my original xbox hooked up at the moment and getting stuck in to some steel battalion (my all time no. 1 game).
Got a few other classics there to keep me busy, crimson skies, xiii, full spectrum warrior, grabbed by the ghoulies, amped, conker reloaded, rainbow 6 black arrow ... The list goes on!
Damn xbox had it good back then, a shame so many ip's got dropped and we were left with just halo gears fable and forza.
FIFA demo and Peggle today
Assassins Creed Unity (oh no) and STFU Sunday
Now is the perfect time for the Vita with xfactor and other Saturday night rubbish - but its sat in my mum in laws yay 👏
I've had my interest in Skyrim recently rekindled as I've started playing again after getting the legendary edition. The dawnguard main quest is pretty good. I like being a vampire. The sun boiling my character's vampire blood make more like real life too lol. I'll probably also be in for some Valkyrie Chronicles. Maybe some DMC3 HD, but I haven't played that even though I've been mentioning it for a few weeks.... I might also try The Taken King's MP modes while I can.
Can't stop playing Mad Max!!!
FFXIII through PS Now - completely missed the whole PS3 era and am catching up, PS Now being a great platform to do just that. Tried on PS Vita and PS4, plays really, really well and am enjoying the story.
Destiny trying to finishing squaring my Hunter and Titan off for The Taken King, and taken some time out for Super Mario Maker.
Another session of Bloodborne - killed the Bloodsucker boss in the dungeon and got my saw cleaver to level 10. Also a go on Danganronpa on the Vita.
Wii U: Mario Maker!!! Holy cow this game is fantastic!
PS4: MGSV
Nothing else. This weekend is all about those two games.
Barely started MGSV
Metal Gear Sold V: The Phantom Pain
Just finished with Grow Home and started MGS:V which is probably all I'll play unless I fancy booting up Super Time Force...
Not much gaming for me this weekend I am afraid due to work, a family health emergency and the football season starting. If I am lucky I might get a chance to run a few rifts in Diablo III on PS4.
I've packed my PS4 and PS3 away until I'm in a new job. But if it was on I'd be playing Destiny and Wolfenstein. Clash of clans is keeping me (in)sane atm.
Finishing up Sherlock Holmes, and maybe some Last of Us: Remastered
@Anchorsam_9 - "Oh here comes the mighty duster."
@BrizzoUK
Tell me about it. I just bought Gears of War Ultimate and MGS V a week apart and today picked up Tearaway and Until Dawn. Not cheap, but worth it for sure. Will definitely get me through to Halo 5. I'm particularly interested in Tearaway because I never played it on Vita. I loved Media Molecule's work on LittleBigPlanet though.
I have to work this weekend but I'm gonna try to get in a killer Instinct and Rare Replay on Xbox One.
@Gamer83 Yeah as a 3DS fan it's the one portable game I was jealous of not having, not enough 3D platformers; so far, so fun. Though I'm seemingly gravitating towards MGSV constantly, still only 22% but it's great fun, I constantly find myself mopping up side ops... And trying to explain Quiet's 'skin condition' as an excuse for why she doesn't wear clothes to the missus... It's tougher than playing Bayonetta in front of her! October/November gets even worse with big games as I never played Uncharted and as I enjoyed TLOUR I feel I have to give it a chance, maybe I'll wait till February and rinse the collection pre4. Also... The Witcher is on sale and I'm tempted as I got some cheap PSN Cash. Think I need to ban myself!
@BrizzoUK
If you liked The Last of Us, I think Uncharted will definitely be easy for you to get into as well. The first one has aged a bit but 3 is a lot of fun still. And 2 is excellent, one of the top 3 best games last gen, imo.
@Gamer83 Yeah I'll definitely have to give it a shot, it'll fill up the inevitable drought! I still pick up and replay N64/Cube games, so I'm used to aged games anyway!
I am so into Nobunaga's Ambition that Snake has to wait in the drawer.... Finally getting close, with my Shimatzu clan, to the final war against Oda clan for western japan supremacy! This game is honey for grand strategic lovers!
