A blink-and-you'll-miss-it reveal during Sony's pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference today, the elaborately named 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is a PlayStation 4 and Vita sci-fi title from Vanillaware β the developer perhaps best known for Dragon's Crown. The game β which is being built in collaboration with Atlus β certainly has a striking hand painted art style. More details are forthcoming.

oh hell yes!
Interesting, I did enjoy Dragon's Crown when I recently played that, so will keep my eye on this for sure!
I saw that artwork with the three girls I think it was maybe 2 years ago but didn't know it was actually for 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.
Looking at the trailer, the game really has an anime feel to it.
Neon Genesis Evangelion x Pacific Rim?
Plus wouldn't it be awesome if we could play as 13 different mechs or in this case sentinels?
Dragon's Crown is awesome. I hope this game gets a Western release, a must-buy for sure.
I'm going to keep an eye out on this! Looks very interesting!
