One of those little stories that slipped through the cracks during Sony's big TGS 2015 press conference earlier this week: Gravity Rush is getting an anime adaptation. The special animation was announced by Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida, though there are no other details right now. To be honest, it sounds like it's only just gone into production, so it could be a while away.
Ordinarily we'd gloss over this news, but given the announcement of both Gravity Rush Remastered and Gravity Rush 2 for the PlayStation 4, it's clear that the Japanese giant's going all in on this series. Hopefully the positive word of mouth and the larger install base of the organisation's home console will help the property to earn the appreciation that it so desperately deserves.

YES!!!
AWESOME
Really cool! Really want to get back to this game, but Danganronpa has been eating up all my free time. I've been itching to play it again though!
Anyone know which studio is developing the anime?
Awesome
This just gets better and better.
Hell yeah, I'll watch it! I'll watch all of it! Hopefully Funimation is the one in charge of the anime. I know that's just the name of the publisher or whatever, but their studios seem to do a real good job with all the shows under their belt. Then again, I'd also be cool with the Naruto studio doing the anime.
This will be weird, because she doesn't really talk much in the game, and even then she is confused at everything. It makes for an interesting and good gaming experience.
I've always said the Vita will ultimately be remembered for being the console where Kat debuted... such an awesome characters
Absolute great news! Even better, Aniplex being a Sony company, the chances are high that some of the best japanese studios like A-1 Pictures (SAO) or Ufotable (Fate), are on the front to take the job !
@Gonbawa Fun fact: A-1 Pictures Inc. is a subsidiary of Aniplex Inc., which is a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment, which is a subsidiary of- ahh you should get the point by now
@Grockumus
That's my point
And of course, SAO and Fate becomming PSP and VITA games, the "Unlimited budget work" thing is easy to understand. We can assume that Gravity Daze is going to be a great anime (AOTY 2016 ?)
And LISA or Kalafina (both from Sony Music Entertainment) for the opening song ^ ^
Everyone needs a bit of Kat in there lives, she's adorable
