Persona 5's absence from Sony's pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference earlier today was bizarre, but there's still hope for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 sequel yet. In addition to a stage show which is scheduled to take place on 19th September, eagle-eyed NeoGAF users have unearthed a 'Coming Soon' teaser website for the title.
The page can be found in a TGS 2015 folder on the foray's official website, suggesting that assets and information will be uploaded in due time. The title's still apparently on track for release this year, but Atlus' silence surely suggests that it won't see the light of day until 2016. We'll find out very soon, it seems.

Going with a bold prediction here: it'll be available in retailers immediately following the showing on the 19th. 😂 I kid, but that would be pretty freaking cool, would it not?
@JesWood13 I wish.
I'm doubting it'll come this year, so I'll assume early next year.
Yeah sure have my doubts about when this (surely) beauty will show up, but revealed in a biiiiig way at TGS and released soon after might very well been the plan all along, I don't kid
Heard they confirmed as soon as last week it was indeed coming 2015 so I choose to believe in that, for hope in non-lying mankind
I wonder what's taking them so long. The Persona games are mechanically very simple. I don't think anyone is expecting the core systems and engine to differ much at all from Persona 4. It's obviously going to be a new setting, story, cast and some new gameplay elements, but they're just making a dungeon crawler with lots of VN elements here.
