Summer Lesson, the PlayStation VR exclusive in development at Bandai Namco, is targeting a very specific type of audience – but boy is its aim good. The title – which will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show this week – essentially sees you interacting with two perfectly rendered Unreal Engine 4 students.
While there doesn't appear to be all that much of a traditional gameplay loop here, we suspect that the simple act of being in the presence of these, er, virtual characters will be enough for some people. In fact, judging by the amount of traffic that the trailers for this alone have been receiving, we can see it being something of a success for Sony's forthcoming futuristic headset.

Lawnmower Man or bust!
Dude Final Fantasy XV looks amazing! lol
Now in all seriousness, if this comes to the west to teach you japanese. Ill buy a PS VR Headset, and this in a heartbeat!
"You're a good teacher, sensei!"
@Alpha Sure. "To teach you Japanese." Got it.
Oh god, It's just so cringe I can't even.
What the hell is that
Yeah I am sure Sony will abandon this just like the Move and the Vita. I wouldn't get too excited folks.
@get2sammyb among other things.
I read a bbc article on sex robots and the catastrophic social problems they cause.
Here's a link.

Its the next step after this.
I don't like to generalise or judge people, I'm a live and let live sort of fella...
But if I knew someone who was thinking of buying this my reaction would be immediate and to the point;
GO OUTSIDE.
I love the face of the guy who is shown playing this on the Playstation VR trailer... and I agree this is going to be the headsets killer app, this and DOA Extreme 3 if it supports morpheus... The Hatsune Miku is other VR title that I can see being a big seller
Lol imagine all the Japanese guys who will buy this! But seriously I'm getting this so I can make her jealous! hmmm if they made a version with male characters and called it The Sims:Heroes wouldn't it appeal to a greater female audience?
@bbq_boy Because all women like The Sims?
@Riririn nah some like candy crush. Lol.
Whatever the game proclaims to be, its certainly one thing.
A game clearly designed where you perv at women is extremely juvenile and is probably in the same bracket as softcore pornography minus the plumbers tools and dodgy camera work. Inevitably this polygon voyeurism was gonna happen at some point, lets hope mums and dads don't buy it for their young kids.
@get2sammyb xD lol
First game I'll play on VR
Awesome! But get rid of the UI! It's a distraction.
Well,I am kinda lonely y'know..Can't watch the trailer yet 'cos my dad is round Its a thing i guess.A Japanese thing..
Great. There's going to be a bunch of 14 year olds wackin off with their head sets on and they won't even notice when mom walks in.
