Start those localisation petitions, as SEGA has announced two new Yakuza titles for the PlayStation 4. The first of the reveals is Yakuza: Kiwami, a complete remake of the original game with updated visuals and all-new scenarios. Due out on 21st January, the title will include a demo for Yakuza 6, which will launch exclusively on the PS4 later in 2016. There will be a PS3 version of Kiwami, too, but obviously that won't come with the aforementioned demo.
Details regarding Yakuza 6 are slim right now, but we're promised that more will be revealed during Tokyo Game Show this week. In the meantime, you can browse Yakuza: Kiwami's teaser website through here.

yeah but will we actualy get these?
@FullbringIchigo We gotta believe.
@FullbringIchigo I have high hopes for Yakuza 6 since we had Yakuza 1-4, especially with Yakuza 5 coming soon. But the Remaster? Doubt it.
SEGA has surely contemplated bringing some of these PS4 Yakuza titles West. Sony had to fund the localisation of Yakuza 5 - but we need to remember it's PS3 only, and the PS3 ain't worth the hassle for most publishers these days.
The way the PS4 is selling in the West, companies like Tecmo Koei, Bandai Namco, and even Square Enix have all shown interest in localising their games. I can't imagine it's much different for SEGA - the incentive is there purely because of the PS4's success.
In other words, we can hope.
Slapping that little girl was literally the funniest part of the entire show
Man so much Yakuza. I hope Yakuza 5 sells well when it's released outside of Japan. Hopefully gives Sega a message.
I'm surprised SEGA doesn't see the potential in bringing Yakuza games out West for the PS4. It's selling well in Europe and in NA, so it can very well make a profit.
