As you'd probably expect, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's first expansion, Hearts of Stone, will require a rather beefy Geralt of Rivia. Answering a fan's question on Twitter, ever reliable community lead Marcin Momot confirmed that the upcoming add-on is intended for Witchers who are level 30 and over.
Momot also stated that the expansion can be started either during or after the main story, so it sounds like the downloadable content's narrative slots straight into proceedings regardless of where you are in your quest. What's more, the add-on will unsurprisingly scale up for those enjoying the title's new game plus mode, although we dare not think about how much damage Geralt's newest enemies could end up doing.
Are you ready to take on the first expansion, or do you need to hone your skills before you begin your new adventure? Saddle up for next month's release in the comments section below.

I would have been somewhat near approaching partially ready...but Metal Gear Solid V has made that distinctly less likely. It was already a stretch really, as I'm still pretty damn early on in the grand scheme of things - last bit I played before MGS V I had a guy with a troll (I think it was a troll) in Novigrad asking me to help him find his gold as he'd been robbed. Still haven't even set foot in Skellige yet. Pretty sure I will maybe finish this by 2017...
I played so much out of the witcher that I think I'll give it a break for now. So much coming out this year. I'll definitely give it a go next year maybe when both expansions are out
I'm level 35 and can't wait!
I was level 35 when I beat the game, but I thought about starting New Game + before this came out... on Death March difficulty...
I'm super ready.
At level 64 new game +... on Blood And Broken Bones.
Avallac'h is waiting for me on the ship in Skellige. Final boss fight with Eredin awaits. I will stop here and back up my saved games. My Witcher is armed and dangerous. That bandit captain won't stand a chance...
This I know.
