We have no hesitation saying that DriveClub is one of the best games on the PlayStation 4 these days, but if the launch issues put you off then there's never been a better time to pick it up. Sony's currently selling the main game alongside its Season Pass for a mind bogglingly cheap £15.99 on the European PlayStation Store – but only if you're a PlayStation Plus member.
To put the offer into context: you'll get almost 100 cars and over 200 events for this criminally low fee. And that's in addition to all of the various updates that Evolution Studios has added for free since launch, including the infamous weather patch and several all-new modes. Even if you're not into racing games, we'd recommend this for the price. Don't delay, buy today, etc.

That's very tempting, I'll pick up the ps+ version tonight (still haven't tried it) and see how it goes.
After playing the plus version I lost whatever interest I had in this game. It's not for me.
Also tempted, but I'll never get round to the bugger!
Meh, I don't like their servers and they don't like me.
How long does the deal last? The page doesn't mention anything so it is safe to assume it's permanent?
Sammy is this a permanent price drop or a flash sale?
Looks permanent to me as there's no mention of a sale anywhere... Just wondering as I want the season pass but don't want to buy it now!
The season pass is 13 euros now. Pretty sure it was 20 euros. May get it somewhat down the line.
However I am kind of stuck in the main game. For some reason I can't win in any event anymore although till this poin the game was very easy for me.
I still struggle with really enjoying Drive Club. It feels like the game keeps wanting to stop my fun - driving off the road slows me down, why have a penalty on top of that?
I'm waiting to get the Season Pass at a discount to be fair got the game as soon as it went down the first time.
@Batman 80 Trophies says you must. XD
@Dodoo @slampog I believe it's permanent.
@get2sammyb Thanks Sammy, think I'll hold off on it for now then.
Nothing worse than spending good money on DLC you never get round to playing! lol
Wow, very nearly bought the season pass for £19.99 the other day, and it's £9.99 now. Buying tonight - happy Friday to me! Fantastic game, can't wait to play more of it.
@SegaBlueSky
It's indeed a lovely game! They've come a long way since the horrible launch, but now the game just won't let me go. There's something bout the handling of the cars that feels just right, it's not a simulation but it isn't too arcadey either.
I do wish that they'd chance to a f2p model by now, with the people who've bought it getting some cool extras. They've said it would continue as a "service", what better way to do that than just give the game for free to all Plus subscribers and start "season 2" in 2016; you can just play the core, season 1, if you like, but you could also buy more tracks, more cars, more skins etc etc for about $30 or $40 a year. This game just doesn't need a sequel, there is little left to improve on. And the few things that do need some patching can be patched along the way. With a model like this they could make this initial flop one of their biggest succes stories!
I think it's a great game, an underapreciated one with a gigantic underserved hatewagon...
@get2sammyb Thanks Sammy!
@chiptoon Not to mention if an AI driver hits you, YOU get the collision penalty, seems legit.
I wanted to enjoy it, but with no career mode, it just feels like you literally just choose race after race for no reason.
Great for purists I imagine though.
