Journey's physical collector's edition is out now on the PlayStation 4, and the title's got a lovely launch trailer to celebrate. Boasting an emotional score and plenty of gameplay, it's a thoughtful representation of thatgamecompany's masterpiece, which is packaged alongside the wonderful Flower and flOw.
Of course, if the headline hasn't already given it away, we're particularly excited about the text that pops up around the 37 second mark. Regular readers will know that we consider Journey to be a pretty special video game, so we're proud to see our words embedded into its existence. Don't worry, we're not going to have a little cry or anything like that.

Get in guys well done. Getting your name in a trailer is pretty special.
I've finished Journey twice and wish my traveller buddies would stop running away.
I didn't see PlaystationSluts.com mentioned even once! LIAR!
I didn't see PlayStation.com
On that note though....can this be considered a game? It's pretty sure, and Grammy nominated is like being Oscar nominated, but you didn't win. And then you've got winning BAFTAs which is just like a Golden Globe but UK.
I like a game to have substance. Again, to quote SomecallmeJohnny, you can tell me how a sandwich is to be enjoyed in a certain way and made of the finest foods only found when the planets align, but while you are saying all that I already ate the damn thing because I was hungry and its food.
Journey is certainly a game. But a good game? It's so....bare.
@Volcanox
Agree, perhaps the most overated game of the last 5 years.
Really hoping for a physical version state side
@Volcanox wow I'm surprised you think that about this game. I know different people have different reactions to stuff, and I'm one of the people who was left in awe after the game ended. If you pay attention to the story and really let it soak in you realize that there's much more to it than climbing a mountain and dancing with scarves. Following the narrative was absolutely amazing to me and the fact that it deviates from the normal "score the best score" format most games use was a great change of pace. But it really is all about the deep narrative.
@Cowboysfan-22
Understand that it's a bit of a metaphor of life, and your travels and / or journey with another individual.........But I have noticed quite a few people have also been left untouched or unimpressed by this game. Yes, my journey was with another individual, but this game and / or experience didn't do it for me.........it's not all that shocking.
It's a deceivsive title, and I understand that some people really adore it, but others like me also found it bland and unmoving. Neither side is wrong.
@Cowboysfan-22 Well if youre gonna sell me on a narrative based experience....Doctor Who. I'm sorry but...a game is something I play. Always has been, but for God's sake, a story is a key part, but not all there is.
The gameplay is the skeleton, without that, you lack a video game, period. There is nothing to play. Putting story, or graphics (I notice these types tend to be the first series of press releases on games and it's a red flag for me) first is the worst thing you can do, because if that doesn't hold up (See Sonic 06) when it's so prominent in the experience...it's going to hurt.
And you cant attach all these meaty, muscle based bonuses to a game, if the skeleton isn't there to strap them to. This game leaned far too far on having gooey substance that I need a degree in Philosophy to understand, considering the gameplay didn't really do...anything. Again, meat on bones, not meat on the floor in a puddle.
Awesome, will definitely try these games out!
