Here's a story that'll get your expectations soaring. Bandai Namco has trademarked 'Tales of the Best' in Japan, but there's obviously no word on what it might be just yet.
Given the role-playing series' long history, some sort of collection seems like a somewhat safe guess. Of course, the question then is what actually qualifies as a 'best' Tales Of title? What's more, if this is indeed a selection of games packaged into one box, what console will it appear on? After all, it'd no doubt be easier for the developer to chuck a bunch of existing PlayStation 3 titles into a PlayStation 3 bundle.
That said, with Tales of Zestiria out worldwide on PlayStation 4, it'd surely make sense to bring other Tales Of games to new-gen players, right? Speculation aside, we wouldn't get too excited before the publisher confirms anything, but until then, feel free to tell us your hopes and dreams in the comments section below.

Instant day one if they do
Hmm, might look into this. Though I don't find it too impressive, I'm still digging Tales of Zestiria. I might check this out to see what the other games were like.
Let it be True.
That'd be nice, though it would be a massive time sink.
Cant wait to buy al my games again on PS5
...
@ShogunRok I really hope it is an HD collection, but only if Vesperia is included.
Lets hope we get Vesperia and Phantasia, but no Symphonia please
instant buy for me as a huge Tales fan ^^
I hope for a PS4/Vita Cross buy/cross save feature too
Oh and I really wish for Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Legendia, those are the ones that I did never get the chance to play (they were not released in Europe back then) ^^
Will it include all the PS3 titles?
btw Abyss, Vesperia, Graces and Xillia with multi language would be great. I'd buy it even tho I won all of those games. =P I think the 2D titles and the Japan exclusives could be saved for another collection.
It sounds more like a mobile game that features characters from across the series. They've done games like that before on handhelds but I don't think any came out here.
