Yay, it's PlayStation press conference time. It may sound sad, but we were really put out by Sony's limited presence at Gamescom earlier in the year. Not only was the platform holder's decision to not hold a media briefing in Cologne bad for our traffic ticker, but it also felt like the whole event had a gaping hole – we were waiting for those oddball PlayStation 4 announcements, but they never came.
All of that will be rectified imminently, as the platform holder turns its attention to Paris Games Week. We're expecting to hear from major studios like Quantic Dream and Media Molecule, while also receiving updates on titles such as WiLD and RIME. But what time should you settle in front of a web browser waiting for all of the action to unfold? We've compiled a handy guide to help you out.
What Time Is Sony's Paris Games Week Press Conference?

OK tomorrow at 1:00pm.be here.
@andrew20 Be there or be... SQUARE.
@get2sammyb yes and I be watching it
On tablet so that is going to be weird I also do it on my phone.
@get2sammyb - "It's hip to be square."
So 1AM for New Zealand...
That gives you 8 hours to have all the news up in individual articles for me, @get2sammyb!
@RaymanFan2 Consider it done.
@get2sammyb Well thanks for answering the time question. Will it be all in French? Will there be subtitles? Does anybody at PS speak French and English to translate?
@andrew20 1pm sweet ^-^ Guess I'll watch it haha
Ill be at work so I won't be able to watch it, but I'll be happy and eager to read all the news from it you guys write.
@rjejr I can't say for sure but they'll probably have various people translating live, broadcast over the normal audio/video stream. That's what they did at TGS.
Will the be streamed on the PS4?
6 am or 5 am for here in new Zealand ill set an alarm for 4:30 and if its 5 that will work out but if its 6 ill just wait an hour watching YouTube vids
I'm seeing Spectre then! Will be on here straight after!
This starts just as I finish work, and I'm busy tonight, so I'll probably have to watch it tomorrow to catch up. I will read up on the news however, looking forward to seeing all the announcements etc!
@rjejr I'm guessing it'll be in English.
Ooh how exciting. I like that they're spreading these things more evenly through the year for once.
Just a note, I got the times for Tokyo and Sydney wrong so have updated that now. What a headache!
Apologies about that.
@get2sammyb English, really? In Paris? I've been to Paris, speaking English there was not a good thing. I watched my sister have a meltdown on the phone w/ my mom.
But that does make me more excited to watch it later. Lunchtime at 1 then.
@Matroska They had english in Japan? Guess I need to stay on top of things better then and stop blowing everything off. Thanks.
@rjejr Well it's like football. Say there's a game at Wembley, they have dozens and dozens of commentators in little booths all commentating at the same time. One's doing BBC1, one's doing BBC Radio, one's doing French TV, one's doing German TV, etc etc. It's like that but rather than commentating it's on-the-fly translation. They'll put out one with an English translation dubbed over it for us (hopefully/probably).
Come on stealth NMS release!!!!! Just do it for us Mr. Murray!!
@SonyInfinity we can only hope haha
Nice, just an hour and 30min away. Going to put that events app through its paces
Is your body ready... wait wrong company
