If you've been twitching over the prospect of watching people play video games on your, er, video game console ever since a native Twitch app was announced for the PlayStation 4, then you may be thrilled to learn that the functionality has rolled out in North America today. It's important to note that this isn't a replacement for Live from PlayStation, but more of a complement that will allow you to watch feeds from other formats.
There's a trailer below which shows of some of the main features, and also confirms that PlayStation 3 and Vita apps are still on the way. The user interface looks almost identical to the Xbox One, which is an interesting design choice. Still, we know that a lot of people have been asking for this, so hopefully it all works as advertised. There's no word on a European release date just yet, but we can't imagine that it will be too far behind.

Twitch is awesome - I always use it on my One, its perfect to see actual gameplay of games Im interested in, also great to stream/chat
Glad it comes to PS4 as well ^^
Hopefully it will arrive in EU in time to watch Sony's PGW conference.
Whenever I try to watch a stream I get an error message and have to manually exit the app. I've deleted and reinstalled, I've restarted my system, nothing is working. Hopefully they fix it soon.
I'll be honest ,I thought it was already on there. ! Barely time to play my own games let alone sit and watch someone else .
Woop - love watching people play oldschool games on twitch. Helps tickle my retro itch and stops me spending tons of money on old consoles and games that I'll probably only spend a few minutes on.
