Styx: Master of Shadows, the surprisingly well-received stealth-'em-up from Cyanide Studios, will get a sequel in 2016. The game β named Styx: Shards of Darkness β will see the sour-faced goblin attempting to infiltrate the city of the Dark Elves in an adventure that promises "new enemies, new environments, and a plethora of new mechanics".
The previous game seemed to sneak onto store shelves in late 2014, but received a second wind when it was given away for free as part of PlayStation Plus. This follow-up has already been in development for six months, and the French developer seems confident that it will offer a much more refined experience this time around. I liked Styx mos, so I will get this
@CD456 load times were a pain
Really? I thought it was terrible. Good for those that enjoyed it I suppose.
I didn't mind Styx but it was free on psn when I got it. I wouldn't have paid money for that game. I hope they improve the fighting commands. That was a huge turnoff.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi wouldn't have said terrible, but there just seemed to be nothing to like.
Unlikeable main character, dumb story, irritating voice, poor graphics.... It just seemed to be completely forgettable.
