It's a weekend of change here at Push Square Towers, as your humble host goes through the arduous but exciting process of upgrading from a computer that's been in use since 2006. This PC was not only used to design the very first iteration of this website β the files are still on it β but has watched it rise from hobbyist blog to major PlayStation publication. Pour one out for the ol' Packard Bell.

When I'm not juggling with drivers and searching through old hard drives, I'll be trying to resist the temptation of Transformers Devastation. I'll probably play through the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection again, scouting for treasures and trying my hand at Brutal difficulty.

I'll be seeing no sunlight this weekend as I've been locked inside the Push Square reviews bunker for the foreseeable future. This secret and secure underground fortress is where the magic happens: the place where indies are awarded 9s and your favourite AAA titles are picked to bits. No normal person could survive here β the residual malice is too powerful to bear unless you're a jaded, bitter, and downright angry video games critic. Reviewing unreleased titles is a tough job, but someone has to do it.
Ben Potter, Video Editor
While I agree with supreme leader Sammy on all of the points made in this soapbox piece, I'm going to be playing the ever-loving crap out of the Star Wars Battlefront beta this weekend. If I can focus on completing the objectives for five minutes instead of hunting for tokens to, y'know, have fun in a vehicle or leap uselessly around as Vader or Luke, then I might stand a chance of winning a game. But come on, we all want to pilot an X-Wing.

I'll actually be vacationing in Washington, D.C. for the first time this weekend with family, so games will obviously take a backseat for me with all the monuments and museums that I'll be seeing. However, with all of the time that will be spent driving around, I'll be cracking open Super Meat Boy and Tearaway every now and then when I have a free moment.
Marcello Apostolico, Reviewer
This weekend, I'm planning on playing more Transformers Devastation and trying out the Star Wars Battlefront beta. If there's a bit more time, I may start Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, which I just picked up for a mere $25 at NYCC.

Well, I don't think that I will get to every game this weekend but here's what I have planned. On the PS4 I will be checking out the Star Wars Battlefront beta, and so far I am mixed on it. Also got planned some Mortal Kombat X, Tales from the Borderlands, and possibly Transformers Devastation. It's going to be a busy weekend.
What's on your itinerary this weekend, then? Will you be playing the Star Wars Battlefront beta, or something else entirely? Let us know in the comments section below.

For me it'll be Rockband 4, Metal Gear Online if the servers work right, and maybe fire up my Wii U for Mario Maker or Smash.
The Nathan Drake Collection.
I played the Life Is Strange demo which looked intriguing but may only be a PS+ game for me.
I am back into Dragon Age Inquisition: Jaws Of Hakkon. I have invested over 100 hours into the main game now.
May look at another session of Lara Croft Temple Of Osiris before the weekend is out too.
@ShogunRok Are you allowed to say what you're reviewing? Just curious really
For me it's Battlefront beta for the majority of it, possibly finishing off the Uncharted trilogy and a bit of Smash/Rocket League for good measure.
Got Transformers and Uncharted waiting for me at home... But I'm down at the (soon to be) in laws, so it's strictly 3DS, which means finishing up my first run through in probably 18 years of Sonic 2 in beautiful stereoscopic 3D. Do hope to crack out transformers when I get home late tomorrow.
Diablo 3. It'll be fun to dive into that game again.
@Rogue76 Diablo 3 is such a great game. I have sunk so many hours into it yet I keep coming back to it and always find something to do in it.
PS4 - Rock Band 4 mainly with a sprinkle of Until Dawn
Vita - Child of Light
Trying to get my head round the battlefront demo, it seems a bit lacking for me right now, wasn't sure on this or bo3, but I definitely enjoyed the cod beta more plus you get a campaign and zombies. I'm too busy to play both multiplayers concurrently . I may go for battlefront further down the line with a price drop.as they claim there will be skill based match making so it won't matter if I jump in late especially as I can see the market getting flooded with this and going second hand cheap.
Super meat boy ftw
Star Wars Battlefront beta, Destiny, and The Last of Us. Multiplayer weekend
Destiny, Battlefront Beta, and maybe Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and Sonic 2 3D. If I could afford it this week I'd sure as hell be playing Transformers Devastation.
Persona2 on my Vita. It's really good im like 25 hours in, tho doesn't come near quality of 3&4. Ps4 is Meatboy.... I'm not sure I'll be up to completing this one
Transformers & warframe!
I'm playing a mixture of Hyrule Warriors on the Wii U and King's Quest on the PS4.
I want to finish the story mode of Hyrule Warriors before I get Dragon Quest Heroes next week, though I may dabble with Adventure Mode too. I'm really enjoying King's Quest; the pacing is nice, the puzzles are not very taxing and the script is very funny with some great voice acting.
I might also finally start Raam's Shadow (Gears of War 3 dlc) on the 360. I got the season pass in a sale absolutely ages ago. It'll be nice to turn the 360 on as I haven't used it in months.
Most likely Warframe... I'm getting rusty
And some nva2k16 for added fun
The Battlefront beta will be most of what I play. It's good, but still a bit dissaponting. It should be so much better than it is. I still can't resist it though. I might beat Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition too though.
I've gone back to Mordor as I never finished it. Played Tearaway unfolded for a bit earlier as well and loving it as much as the vita version - think I'm going to Platinum it perhaps.
Other than that, some destiny I expect hit 294 light, tempted to try raiding but I dunno - the community thing might make that possible though I'd have to read up on it all!
Picked up Hotline Miami on the store for just over Β£2 the other day and I'm absolutely loving that right now. Brilliant game and art style.
Mixing that up with a bit of Super Meat Boy on PS+ and a few games of FIFA 16 now and then as well.
Super Meat Boy. Makes for a great Vita game!
Splatoon and MGO
But actually im watching a lot of Netflix JUST finished Luther and... OH MY GOD WHAT A DAMN SHOW, ONE OF THE BEST (IF NOT THE) CRIME SHOWS EVER, BBC has some of the best shows around and i like the UK way of 1hour long episodes with 4-6 spisodes per season more so than the US
IDRIS ELBA needs to be the next bond, he has it all
@john_c on dragon age also, still on nightmare mode and I'm on the final boss at only level 16, me thinks I've bitten off more than I can chew, so far the game has been challenging but after a few attempts it's very much trial and error.
However I feel the last boss at level 16 is perhaps a bit too ambitious π’
@Tasuki I agree. I got the game when it first came out. Then I didn't play it for a long time. I played it a bit the other night and thought "why did I ever stop playing this?". Such a fun game.
PES 2016
Vita
Persona 4: Dancing All Night
PS4
Uncharted Collection
Transformers Devastation
3DS
Little Battlers eXperience
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 [3D Classic]
Wii U
Super Mario Maker
@BrianC
Which Persona 2? The first on PSP or the second on PSone? I just bought both of those on Vita, as well as the PSP ports of Persona and Persona 3.
Earlier this week, by some unexplained miracle (AKA nice people) I got Batman Arkham City and I can't put it down. I've already blown through most of the game, beaten the story and Harley DLC, got all Riddler's stuff, and now I'm doing the challenges. I haven't been this invested in a game since I first got Super Mario Galaxy in 2007. I'll probably keep playing it even after everything's done.
Destiny to get the new exotic weapon assuming I ever see a warsat on Mars.
Other than that a little bit of the Star wars beta which I'm still not sure about
Not star wars, boring
Broken Age, it's brilliant! And really funny. Played a bit of MGO earlier as well, cloak & Dagger mode is what it's all about. And onto Super Meat Boy on my Vita in a minute. That game is haaard!
this weekend is -
star wars battlefront beta
the order (love this game)
Nathan drake collection
Tearaway unfolded
transformers devastation (on xbox)
to be honest ive waaay more games than i can play right now...and call of duty AW keeps interrupting the new ones!
@Faruko Luther is awesome you might have already watched it but you should try Sherlock (starring Cumberbatch and Freeman) it's really good
@Hego I LOVED SHERLOCK
If you ask me, top 3 "drama" series for me are Breaking Bad, (althou not fully drama but still) and Luther
Cunberbatch and Elba are such damn good actors
@Faruko Ya Elba is just the coolest damn guy in the world, I even like the ads he's in
3DS
PokΓ©mon Omega Ruby
PS4
The Witcher 3
Pirate Warriors 3
Wii U
Hyrule Warriors
PC
Game of Thrones Telltale
Cliff Baker's Jericho
Persona 4 and thanks to PS Now Everybody's Golf and God of War 1 (which seems really great, glad theirs an easy way for me to get up to date on this series)
@Rogue76 @tasuki
My problem with Diablo 3 on Consoles its the amount of hackers :/ playing online its begging to get super leveled up and super godlike loot...
(Mostly because you can extract D3 save file and modifiy it on a PC)
Just finished Valient Hearts (really nice game) and Bastion (great game, awesome soundtrack and artwork), probably play some Rocket League and maybe Suikoden 1 on Vita
Unchartered Yee haa
SOMA.
Maybe try to play some more Witcher 3. There's absolutely no chance of getting even half way done before the DLC comes out thought.
I'm playing through the Nathan Drake Collection (almost done with the first game). I'm also, getting in a few rounds of the Battlefront beta when I get a chance.
Just bought an Uncharted PS4 Bundle yesterday! So I've been playing Drake's Fortune this weekend. What a great game! Been loving combat. First time I've bought a Playstation since 1997! I'll be playing that, the Battlefront Beta, and probably Mario Maker or Splatoon at some point. I've been so used to playing Splatoon that I began moving the PS4 controller around as if motion would help me in Drake's Fortune hahaha. Noob.
I've been switching between PES 2016 & Battlefront beta. Good times.
Well I finally broke down and got Drake Collection. Was worried that the first game would be really dated and that I would have to force my way through it to get to part 2 and 3 that seem to be considered the best. After a couple hours in I have to say I am surprised.
Blue Point has done an AMAZING job with this game. To be 6 years old and run and look as smooth as it does, I am really impressed. It's my first time playing any of the series and I wouldn't have known it was that old if I hadn't already looked it up online, it really is that good of a remaster.
Best remaster yet I would say. I started it on Hard and I am really liking the challenge of it, thought it would be a cake walk, but it's not. Happy with my purchase thus far and if what I have read from comments is correct, it only gets better and better from here.
Final Fantasy XIV (PS4)
Mega Man X Collection (PS2)
PS4 - MGS V: The Phantom Pain, Uncharted collection
Xbox One - Forza Motorsport 6, Gears of War Ultimate Edition
@DrClayman I'll keep you guessing and say that all three reviews will be published next week! Such suspense!
I haven't been gaming for a week, too distracted by movies/shows and some RL events.
However I will try to get back to playing Darksiders 1 (PS3) soon.
@Faruko one of the reasons I don't play that game online
PlayStation 3:Borderlands
Windows Phone: Fruit Ninja
Mgs5 for me and assassins creed 2 on PSnow. Going for all assassins creed plats. Except the original assassins creed is without trophy support. So. Lame.
Disgaea 5.
Looking forward to sinking a solid 200+ hours into it.
@Faruko I agree but as @Rogue76 said that's why I don't ever play online. However if you and @Rogue76 want to friend me to send and receive gifts feel free to send an invite.
Uncharted collection. It's a beautiful package
@JaxonH the first one on PSP, I got that p3p bundle too despite already owning that game
Won't be playing much this weekend as I'll be sunning it up in Salobrena! Got a little bit of Metal Slug in on the flight, and will make a start on Broken Age if we hit any bad weather, but outside of that I'll be out in the pool doing as little as possible
Far Cry 4.
PES 16 , really enjoying it . My first football game since Fifa 09 , have got all correct kits and team names etc installed. Really enjoying the MyClub mode , I'm hopeless online and so far have won only one game due to a player quitting when he was winning 3-0 !
Will also be playing the excellent Battlefront beta and the wife is going to be back on Project Cars and Assassins Creed Unity.
@Tasuki @Rogue76 ill glady do so
maybe we could do a hardcore run ?
@SteveButler2210 Enjoy the holiday!
@SteveButler2210 not drinking, I hope....
Playing Star Wars Battlefront Beta.. is ok, but I can see it getting old quick even with other modes. Although it is Star Wars...
May have to put in Diablo 3 again after a few of you have mentioned it. I still haven't played it since the last big update
Final Fantasy type-0 and Jojo's bizarre adveture all-stars
Got some broken age in on PS4 and working on Final Fantasy X HD on Vita. Needed a new JRPG after finishing P4G the other day.
@Hego cheers mate!
And @kyleforrester87 nope, found some non-alcoholic Amstel in the local super market. Not the best substitute but it'll do!
I'm bouncing between Skyrim (PS3) and Knights of Pen and Paper (Steam).
@Faruko yes Luther is great. If you like cop dramas you must watch the Scandinavian shows. You seen Bron it's on Netflix but it maybe called the bridge on UK netflix amazing and very gritty. Also check out Arne Dahl but they're very very dark censorship is illegal in Sweden so they're very very dark π
@Faruko I honestly don't like hardcore. Just the thought of putting a bunch of work into a character just to lose it all because of a cheap death turns me off to it.
Still loving the drake collection, so impressed with it
.
Destiny: The Taken King. And maybe a little bit of Helldivers.
@Tasuki @Faruko you both can add me as a friend. My psn name is rogueleader76. I only have a ps3, so yeah... Lol
@LittleLight how do you like Helldivers? I played it when I first got it. Haven't played much since.
Tempest 2000 on the Jaguar, and TxK in 3D on PC with that awesome wheel controller that Jeff Minter has made. (At PlayExpo in Manchester)
Tempest 2000, wow
Would be interested to know just how many jaguars are still in the wild, so to speak. I still have my Saturn with Panzer Dragoon Saga and Dragon Force , both mint with the cases and the manuals. PDS was my favorite game for a looooong time and the visuals blew everything else away at the time. Such an amazing game. Still got the old shining the hold Ark as well, very very difficult but rewarding first person rpg, loved it.
@Rogue76 Oh bummer dude I only have a PS4 so there goes sending you gifts in Diablo I will still add you though.
fifa 2016, uncharted, n destiny (getting addicted to this game)
Played some side missions in MGSV with a little online on the side. Tried the Battlefront Beta and spent the following half hour dying a lot.
Mkx
@Tasuki cool. Sounds good.
@Rogue76 It's Great! Good game to play with friends. Love the challenge. I have bought every piece of DLC that's come out so far. That is something i never do with a game.
