Okay, we know that we're a little bit late with this week's edition of WAYP – but your humble host has reserved this weekend to finish setting up his new computer. Fortunately, the task has now been completed, which means that normal service can resume. It's time to talk about all of the games that we'll be playing this weekend, then.

I'll be touring Victorian London in a certain open world sequel that's due out imminently on the PlayStation 4. I can't really delve into specifics just yet, but look out for a full review soon.

After what feels like an eternity of playing nothing but colourful Japanese titles, it' time to get gritty and head back to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. I've enjoyed my time with Dragon Quest Heroes: This Title Is Far Too Long to Write Here and Tales of Zestiria, but Geralt's newest adventure is calling. As long as my Witcher skills haven't gone to rust, we should hopefully have a review of Hearts of Stone for you lot very soon.

With the gaming silly season just around the corner, this weekend presents a chance to polish off those odd games that I'm yet to finish – despite kicking them off months ago! With Until Dawn, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt all in various states of completion, I don't think that I've got a chance of finishing them all, but I'm going to have fun trying.

This weekend, time is of the essence as I do some last minute cosplay crafting for Comic-Con next week. In between stabbing myself in the thumb repeatedly with a needle, I'll be giving myself a break with something light hearted – provided my thumbs still work. What better title to turn off my brain than Hatoful Boyfriend? Call it the peak of my dating sim obsession, but it seems like the perfect game to play for some silly fun.

After a splendid vacation in D.C. (subtracting the horrifying drivers and traffic), I've got two papers to write for my English classes before Sunday. To break up the monotony, I plan to finally start investing in Alien: Isolation and Amnesia: The Dark Descent. They might be 2spooky4me, but I'm ready to brave the Xenomorphs and Gatherers as Hallowe'en quickly approaches!

I've picked up LittleBigPlanet 3 in the PlayStation Store sale, so I'll be running through the campaign of that, being guided by the almost-too-English voices of Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie. If I can get some time in to play Rock Band 4, then that'll be a win too!

By the time that you all read this I will be in Portland, Oregon at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo. This is my first time and I am so excited. I don't know what I will be playing, but with a free play arcade room and another room full of every console that you can think of, I am sure I will be in gaming heaven.
And that's all from us, folks – but we still want to know what's rustling your jimmies in the comments section. You know the drill, so join the action down below.

well i would have been playing Dragon Quest Heroes and Tales of Zestiria IF Amazon hadn't messed up and lost my order T_T
now i have to wait until next week in order to request replacements (just in case they are delivered over the weekend)
Elder Scrolls Online... Persona 4 Dancing All Night... Uncharted.. MGSV.. Transformers Devastation... I've got enough xD although I wish my Tales of Zesteria Collector's Edition wasn't going to be shipped on the 20th.. I've been waiting forever to play that.
@FullbringIchigo Oh no! Amazon's typically flawless for me, so that's a real bummer than they messed up on a big release week like this.
@get2sammyb to be fair,it's the first time they have EVER lost a delivery of mine since i started useing them and that was a long time ago plus they have already said the will replace them for me if they haven't arrived by monday i just need to notify them
More Arkham City for me. I've been doing the challenges, and I've actually been having alot of fun with them, even the extreme ones. Also wrapping up Riddler stuff before I do a new game plus.
Sammy my friend, I honestly feel sorry for you this time around. Everything about the new AC honestly makes me feel apathetic.
Transformers Devastation. Such a good game, doing a hard mode run now (commander). May start Uncharted tomorrow. Would like to complete that by Fallout time... But with Project Zero coming out, it's clearly a pipe dream! Damn silly season.
I'm playing Dragon Quest Heroes. It's a real treat for DQ fans with lots of references to the whole series. I like the selection of music and then trying to remember what game it's from.
Also playing Hyrule Warriors which is confusing because while the battle system is almost identical to the above the buttons are different. Danganronpa Another Episode and King's Quest will have to wait til I've finished this.
This weekend will be Rock Band 4 and Yoshi's Wooly World for me when I'm not busy hanging out with friends and doing homework for Networking & Hardware class. Anxiously awaiting Tales of Zestiria this Tuesday!
Destinying, a friend picked up a PS4 with TTK so running through with him on a new chracter
I feel almost embarrassed to say that I've only played PES 2016 so far and I don't think I'll play anything else. I have a preview code of Project Zero waiting for me, MGSV isn't finished by far, The Witcher has a expansion which is should really be playing, DQ Heroes came in yesterday and Forza 6 hasn't seen more than 2 hours of gameplay and I absolutely wanna play the games I mentioned.... I just can't!
The moment I get home I just switch on my PS4 and start playing PES like some sort of a zombie, always persuading myself into playing "just one more" before I quit. Even with Halo on the horizon, and the limited console it's coming with, doesn't excite me as much as it should...all because of PES.
Now I think of it.... where are my wife and kids? Haven't seen em in days now...
Bloodborne for me. I finally beat the cleric beast, so I'm excited to go on. I had a difficult time with the nether beasts. Molotov cocktails helped.
The Uncharted Collection. Beat 1 and 2, trying to complete 3 then it will be back to 2 for another playthrough. Loved that game last gen and love it even more in 1080p, 60 fps.
Finishing unchartered 1 hopefully tonight, then if possible disgaea 5, some rocket league on Sunday night too.
Zestiria and DQH. While I certainly wouldn't say I was disappointed with the Uncharted Collection, I completed the first game in two sittings and then barely got into the 2nd one before getting distracted by, of all things, an iOS F2P game. Now Zestiria and DQH are out, it's really been put onto the backburner. I haven't touched TW3 since I got to Skellige several months ago.
@get2sammyb Yeah, same here. I've being ordering off them 1 to 2 times a month or so for the best part of a decade with no problems. Not sure if that poster is American but I do hear worse things about them there. Here in the UK even the free delivery arrives in 2 or 3 days of the order being placed and they now offer free 3 hour delivery with Prime - which itself is free if you keep making new Amazon accounts.
VITA
Persona 4 Dancing All Night (just beat story)
Stein's Gate
Zero Escape Virtues Last Reward

PS4
Transformers Devastation
Uncharted Collection
Dragon Quest Heroes
Back to the Future The Game
3DS
Chibi Robo Zip Lash
Legend of Legacy

[nothing]
And before anyone says something, yes that's a lot of games. A ton of them just released and I'm dipping into all of them, some more than others.
@JaxonH
Good luck.
Trying to finish MGSV before Black Ops 3! (Loving it).
Also having fun with Rocket League and Super Meat Boy in between 👍🏻
@Gamer83
Yes, well I just beat Persona 4 Dancing All Night this morning. I really enjoyed that one. Started Yoshi and Chibi Robo yesterday- firing Yoshi back up right now cause I'm craving more.
The rest will get the standard 2 hours each, unless I get sucked in by one of them. This is how I try and test my games to see which ones I'll stick with and which will get tossed into backlog.
But honestly, after P4 Dancing I'm really itching to toss in Persona 4 Golden and play that for the next month. The dialog between characters is just so well done- it's almost more entertaining than the game itself!
I'm playing ether one on my ps4. I just started star wars the force unleashed on my ps3 and I'm currently reinstalling zen pinball 2 for my psvita because of the balls of glory pack that will release this Tuesday.
@get2sammyb ever considered reviewing the zen pinball DLC? Zen studios is pretty easy with giving away review codes, even for tables that are already out for quite some time.
Just got the Sleeper Simulant on Destiny so I'm gonna take a bit of a break from it.
It'll be a mix of MGSV and trying to get back into the Witcher to give the latest patch a go and make some inroads into the story and hopefully finish before Fallout 4 comes out. Oh and a bit of practice on Rocket League before the DeLorean is released
GTA V and Child of Light on PS4
@JaxonH Woolly World is great... Captain Falcon Yoshi clearly the best. Just finished an almost 8 hour session of Transformers. Great game... My hands are destroyed now!
@BrizzoUK
Ya I like the Ike and Marth amiibo costumes. And the Sonic and MegaMan costumes.
And Transformers is great too. Not QUITE as good as some of their previous work but still really good.
@JaxonH
I might give that Persona dancing game a try at some point. Would you say you've had to play past games in the series to enjoy it?
Just been playing fifa UT Draft and got terrible rewards... My plus has just run out so time to pick Uncharted back up!
@Gamer83
No, definitely not.
I wasn't that familiar with the Persona universe. I had only played the very beginning of Persona 4 Golden- that's it. And that was a year ago, maybe longer.
There are references to the TV world and obviously there's storyline elements you'll probably only recognize if you've played past games (for example, Rise Kujikawa gave up being an idol in the main series, then after an epiphany returns to show business- which is what this game is spun off from) And that's common, trivial knowledge so nothing that spoils any plotline.
But point being I knew nothing, and it was fine. The story is a self contained spinoff, and any references are easily deduced through context. You'll have no problem at all.
In fact, it will probably make you want to play Persona 4 when you're done. I went and spent $70 buying all the PSP and PSone games on PSN.
It's that crafty and natural dialogue that really elevates the game. Such great voice actors, and the gameplay is fun too. I'd start out on easy then switch to Normal after a few tracks.
@JaxonH Yeah I did like using Marth (haven't played since I got Ike).
Yeah, it will take a long time till they can beat Bayo 2, looking back, could be my favourite Wii U game (and that is saying something).. I really need to run through it again (having to explain to the girlfriend her 'clothing' was always a challenge mind).
On topic though... I can't believe people can ever moan about not having anything to play (as we know many do!) the array of games atm is awesome... Maybe we aren't so picky eh?
@Boerewors Pretty much all I'm playing atm too. Still haven't won a single online game yet , only been playing MyClub which is really addictive but think I'm doing something wrong as I've never enough money and still got a crap team! Been away from footy games since Fifa 09 and really enjoying this one.
@JaxonH is the back to the future game the exact same as the PS3 trilogy from about 5 years ago ?
@JaxonH
Cool, I'll definitely be playing the game at some point.
@MinerWilly
Um... Not sure. It's the Telltale game, just ported to PS4.
Story was written by same guy who wrote the movies, and it has all the same actors to voice characters- Christopher Lloyd, Michael J Fox, the guy who did Biff... Etc
I will be replaying Life is Strange from Episode 1 since my PS3 crapped out on me. I ended up buying it on my PS4 which i have been playing a lot more lately.
Plus Episode 5 comes out in like 3 days. need to play it exactly the same too! lol
Really want to start Dragon Quest Heroes, but I want to finish up God of War III Remastered first. Probably next week for DQH. Also going to be catching up on Lego Dimensions and Skylanders Superchargers.
Final Fantasy XIV (PS4): Will be lvling up my thaumaturge.
Mega Man X Collection (PS2): finishing off playing Mega Man X3, then will be moving on to Mega Man X4.
I'll be doing this when I'm not busy doing work outside,and watching hockey.
PS4
Uncharted Collection (never played before, awesome games)
3DS
Pokémon Omeg Ruby
Wii U
Nothing this weekend.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor GOTY (PS4).
Persona 4: Golden (Vita)
Playing through Suikoden on my Vita, think I'm about half through the game. Not at home this weekend so it'll be lots of vita action, probably try to power through suikoden and finish it off (been playing it on and off for a few weeks now)
Same thing I play every weekend, Warframe. At least until fallout 4 comes out.
Destiny & The Last of Us mostly
@darkswabber We did do a few Zen Pinball DLC reviews, but unfortunately, there's just not enough time for that sort of thing anymore. Maybe it's something we'll do again the new year, but with so many games coming out on PS4, it's just not the best use of our time really.
Maybe we could do a big wrap up of all of the latest tables or something? I'll have a think!
I've really been wanting to play Resident Evil Revelations 1 & 2. I played all the series in the past & lately I've been having a strange nostalgia. I am fatigued by all the open world games. I just want a game with a good story. Maybe I'll pick those 2 games this week. Then again, I've never played any of the Uncharted games because I never had a ps3 so I may get the trilogy instead.
ultra street fighter4 is a constant thing in my life. so its hardly worth mentioning but other than that ive been playing and very much enjoying the vanishing of ethan carter. was playing ESO quite a bit but kind of stopped that for the witcher3 for the past couple weeks. little bit of metro redux here and there. really just waiting VERY IMPATIENTLY for eps.5 of life is strange and of course fallout4!!!
Me and a buddy of mine just got back into Warframe. I can't believe how much content Warframe has these days. Such a good game that deserves a retry if you didn't like it when it first released on PS4.
Other than that I can't get Fallout 4 out of my mind and because of that I can't bring myself to play much of anything else. Sad I know, but Fallout is my number 1 game of all time and as such gives me tunnel vision anytime a new iteration is about to release.
I did play a bit of Oddworld Strangers Wrath in bed this morning on my Vita.
Diablo 3 and Disney Infinity 3.0
MGS5 for ever. 10% completion and savoring every second. That helicopter music function can be a crackup (does "Kids in America" remind anyone else of the Jimmy Neutron movie? )
@mookysam at least yours arrived, mine was lost in transit T_T
@Matroska i'm not american i'm from the UK and this is the first time Amazon has EVER lost one of my deliveries and like i said they are going to replace them but i have to wait in order to see if they come over the weekend
amazon have always been great and i never had a problem before this and they have been nothing but helpful when my package was lost, they are still messaging me with updates about it
they are still going to be my go-to online shopping service
@JesWood13 I feel your pain in regards to networking classes.
Drake collection FTW!
Well probably a little Madden and Yugioh like I do every day, but would like to get to episode 4 of Tales from the Boarderlands since 5 comes out this week.
@FullbringIchigo Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it'll arrive or you'll get your replacement soon.
@mookysam well it doesn't look like my original order will arrive because according to their system it was already delivered so it really is just lost somewhere
i'm going to have to get replacements but that's fine because i'm still getting the games just a bit later is all
Witcher 3, got it back off a mate a month ago and I've not stopped really enjoying. My play was to just plough through the story then trade it but I'm seriously considering the season pass a few friends have got over 25 hours out of the first expansion so it's well worth the cash.
It's keeping me going til Fallout 4 anyway
Getting my grind on in DQH. I love it. Just got Angus and Jessica, who sadly hasn't got the same voice as in DQVIII as far as I can remember.
Went back to playing 'Rocket League' a bit. Still FUN + Just got 'Tearaway Unfolded' today
'BUT' GRRRRRR!?!? I started the game & thought i will play some of my Music while playing so i hit the PS button & couldn't find the old 'USB Music Player' icon so i tried to start the 'Media Player'(you have to use that now i just found out) but you can't start the 'Media Player' once you start a Game?!?! WTF!?!? What a pile of Sh*t :-/ Not many things wind me up but SONY doing this makes me p*ssed off :-/ Oh well. I guess i have to start the 'Media Player' 1st but then you can't even look at your Albums to while in Game like you could with the 'USB Music Player'?! What a massive step back, oh well at least i have got 100 New pointless Social Features that work i guess...
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PS1 Classics) - I'm playing it for the first time. The gameplay is great, but I wish there wasn't any voice acting. It's so bad in a lot of these old games.
Pikmin 3 (Wii U) - Completed story mode 100%. I might play the mission mode stages just to get even more out of it.
@Storytime7 just played SotN on vita it's a perfect fit - really wish there were more ps1 classics on the store for vita
Spent the weekend playing MGSV. I am still enjoying it (26% complete) I think, but I saw a video that kind of highlighted some of the things that were niggling at me with it. For example, the sheer busy work and wait involved with going on a mission (helicopter, loading etc). The fact that mother base is basically Farmville complete with timers and the missions are either rescue this person, abduct that soldier or steal this file 200 times...Hopefully will see it through for sake of completion.
