Nothing hacks this video editor off more than preparing for a Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain victory – only for Tearaway: Unfolded to come out of nowhere with its cardboard cuteness and snatch the Game of the Month win. Fortunately, your humble host improvised – stay tuned for footage of Push Square's very own paper-based diorama. It's a humdinger.

@Batman god I love this. Please never stop using that Ramsey interview clip
Awesome, as always!
But still not over the fact Tearaway beat MGS and PES 2016 wasn't even mentioned. Pushsquare was the place I visited for all my PS news and to see what the editorial staff had to say bout the industry.....now I'm just here for the news
Haha, good video, always love it when a bit of comedy is injected into these things.
@Boerewors PES 2016 finished 5th so was counted. As for Tearaway winning, everyone on the team gets a vote, and Metal Gear Solid fell three or four points short. We were all pretty shocked when we tallied up the results, but... Well, that's how polls work! Can't change the outcome innit.
Brilliant video and I couldn't agree more with the top 2. This site is easily my favourite in terms of reviews.
@Anchorsam_9 Until I'm physically restrained, that interview clip will be in every video.
@Boerewors Thanks man! As Sammy said, unfortunately Pro Evo just missed out this month.
I'm pretty sure anybody that consider's Tearaway to be September's game of the month is in a huge minority as this game probably wouldn't even be in most people's top 5.
@TheMightyPunram I did! YouTube commenters are a 'unique' breed.
I think tearaway is the game of this gen so far.
@Batman if you took a walk through their deepest thoughts, you wouldn't get your feet wet.
Great vid though. Had me laughing a fair few times, especially the parody at the start. Spot on.
@xMEADx that's probably because a tiny minority of people actually bought it, sadly.
@Johnnycide thanks man
The Metal Gear series is easily my favorite in all of gaming, but even my vote went to Tearaway. As a MGS game, MGS5 has been a bit of a let down to me. Sure, the gameplay is fantastic.. but what happened to the story? It's decent by today's standards, but it's no where near my expectations for a MGS game.
Tearaway on the other hand has brilliant gameplay AND a brilliant story. Dare I say, the whole game is perfect. It MIGHT not appeal to anyone, but I'm willing to bet ,given the opportunity to play it, anyone would enjoy it. That's a very very rare quality these days.
MGS5 is a pile of boring crap, thanks =).
