Many of you won't have even had the chance to boot up your copy Star Wars Battlefront yet, but that hasn't stopped EA from running its mouth regarding potential sequels. "Our goal is to make future Battlefront games as well as other style games around the Star Wars franchise," CFO Blake Jorgensen stated during a talk at the UBS Global Technology Conference.
Obviously, we all knew that this was coming, but it's always a bit jarring to hear such things when the initial title has only just launched. Jorgensen also reiterates that the publisher has a ten year licensing deal with Disney, and it's looking forward to seeing what it can do with the property in the future. "The beauty of the Star Wars franchise is it's almost unlimited in what you can do with it," he said.
Of course, now we have to ask: what kind of Star Wars games would you like to see from EA? Let your imagination run wild in the comments section below.

Take the cancelled Prey 2 that was hugely hyped up. Make it in the Star Wars universe and the player a bounty hunter. Money.
@LieutenantFatman I could definitely get behind that!
Make the next Star Wars: Battlefront, Battlefront 3. I'm looking forward to playing the new one today, but one closer to the originals is needed.
As for other game. I want an open-world Star Wars game, where your a bounty hunter, and is a mix of a bounty hunter game and GTA. A KOTOR3 is also a must, and make a truely great Force Unleashed (or something similar).
if they bring back 1313 i would be happy
also i wouldn't mind a Knights of the Old Republic 3 (and a 1 & 2 HD remaster), a Jedi Hack and Slash (done by Platinum Games, published by EA), a Mass Effect style game and a Boba Fett game
now i wonder if Battlefront 2 will have a story mode?
How about no Star Wars games from EA? I'd rather Namco Bandai take a crack at it.
@Link41x no chance of that EA have exclusive rights (at least for now)
There's room for only one sprawling, convoluted sci-fi multiplayer shooter this generation!
But of course.
I don't know. I honestly don't feel like I can fully trust EA with the licence. I can understand Battlefront sequels, but anything else has me wary.
In other news EA like money
a mix between an otome game and New Style Boutique where you're in charge of fashion for the Queen of Naboo, all while trying to navigate your way through the twisted tangles of love with tons of hot guys. The captain of the Queen's guard, a handsome young senator, a rival fashion designer, a brave Naboo pilot, and a mysterious drifter who may or may not have been a Jedi at one point.
or something kind of like Harvest Moon but you're a Moisture Farmer on Tatooine. (^_^ )/
Id like a complete star wars game. Not half now and half when you pay another full price for it.
Just have space battles connected to ground battles like the blooming PSP games did. If there was one thing the last PSP Battlefront got right it was this, battles battles were far more strategic.
In response to the end question: none.
@Utena-mobile kidding or not, I genuinely like the SW HM concept. Or maybe closer to Rune Factory so there could be some iconic weapons and creatures. I'd buy that so fast!
My favorite SW games as a kid were Dark Forces (still outstanding), Rogue Squadron, Jedi Power Battles (still trying to beat), The Gungan Frontier (so underrated), and Force Commander (best of the bunch). As a bigger kid I loved the KotORs, the Battlefronts, and Bounty Hunter. Now I just want something that will evoke a similar fondness after a decade or more passes (too much to ask? Nah).
Maybe with VR they will finally give us the Jedi Simulator we could have had with Wiimote/PS Move and they never did.

I'm worn out with Star Wars. KOTOR, Rogue Squadron and the original Battlefront were great. Then Mass Effect happened and a more cohesive and fresh universe appeared. To now be replaced again by farty old creaking star wars again. Cant wait for those same zappy sound effects and same old musical score.
Controversial opinion incoming - star wars (a new hope grrr) was also the only truly great film from beginning to end. Empire started great and got worse, Return was awful, Phantom was middling to bad, Clone wars was lame, sith was ok.
Great news ,keep em coming. I'll buy anything Dice are involved with. Just hope one day they return Battlefield to its original WW2 roots even if just for one year.
@scarecrowknife exactly! Plus throw in a campaign with a story.
I imagine those EA bosses wearing suits, sitting in a noble office somewhere in a skyscraper, smoking cigarres and drinkin whiskey, loughing out loud with an utmost evil loughter like " harharhar, those gamers will buy any crap as long as it has the label Star Wars on it, just sell them the crappy old Battlefield gameplay along with all the bugs, they wont even recognise as long as there are Jedis ... and Vader .. muahahahaha"
@LieutenantFatman Great idea!
I guess for me I'd like to see an action adventure game in a Star Wars setting, maybe similar to Shadow of Mordor, or even more story driven like Uncharted. I know 1313 was shaping up to be just that, but there's no stopping them from having another go. I loved the idea of The Force Unleashed, it was a big shame that it turned out to be a bit rubbish.
I'd like a dishonoured type game in the Star Wars universe. Sneaking, force powers etc. Imagine sneaking through the Death Star to steal plans, turn off the tractor beam and escape in a stolen Tie Fighter. Or a new pod racer. The N64 version was awesome.
translation: "the beauty of the star wars franchise is that you can just keep making money from it..!"
