Out This Week: Fallout 4, Superbeat Xonic, Spelunker World

There's a gaping Lara Croft shaped hole in the PlayStation 4's lineup this week – but don't worry too much, as Fallout 4 is here to keep you occupied. While we're in the thick of the holiday release season, there's actually not a whole lot launching this time – we can only imagine that publishers wanted to get out of the way of Bethesda's juggernaut. In fact, aside from Star Wars Battlefront and Just Cause 3, we're pretty much on the home straight now. Hurray!

Pick of the Week: Fallout 4

Was there ever going to be any other Pick of the Week? Fallout 4 has practically been a lock for Game of the Year discussions the moment that Bethesda announced that it was going to have an E3 press conference, and fortunately it's turned out great. In his review, our very own Robert Ramsey describes the colossal role-playing game as a "masterclass in open world design", which is high praise considering that every franchise and its shoddy spin-off has a sandbox setting these days. Oh, we just love the smell of charred Americana in the morning.
