If you're not exactly feeling the festive cheer yet, then perhaps you may enjoy indulging your masochistic side with Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, which has been discounted this week on the European PlayStation Store. The punishing but popular game will be available for £19.99 until 25th November, which is cheaper than on Amazon.co.uk.
Of course, it's not the only item reduced this time, as Sony's extending its PlayStation Plus double discounts promotion to an absolute metric ton of DLC items. We'd seriously recommend the DriveClub Season Pass at 50 per cent off, as it already represents insane value at full-price. To be honest, there's so much content on sale that we recommend scrolling through the list yourself – but don't forget to come back and tell us what you're buying in the comments section below.

No season pass for dragon age inquisition but they sell all the DLC on sale, makes perfect sense.

FFS I only bought that last week and had been holding out ages for a sale! Ballbags...
So as someone who loved Demons Souls, Dark Souls, and Bloodborne; is DS2 worth it? I've heard it's nowhere near as good.
I just bought Lords of the fallen, last weeks offer. This seems similar in gameplay but is it harder?. I don't have time nor patience for frustratingly difficult games.
@Johnnycide just go get it - you will love it - its brilliant - and since you know the "other" Souls Games you know what to expect in terms of gameplay (many changes over DS1 for the better) and, of course, the unbeaten dark tension atmosphere. Just be prepared to die ... even more than on PS3/360 because the "Scholar of the First Sin" Edition is even more harder/hardcore because of new (and tougher) enemies and things like that.
