Despite the brilliant Bloodborne still being the highest rated exclusive of the year, there's been some dissatisfaction with the PlayStation 4's exclusive offerings since launch. Next year looks set to change that perception once and for all, though, as Sony has assembled a dizzying roster of first-party software – and it's dominating The Game Awards' most anticipated list.
Of the five nominees, four are PlayStation 4 exclusives, with Xbox One title Quantum Break the outlier. The other games battling for the gong are Horizon: Zero Dawn, No Man's Sky, The Last Guardian, and, of course, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. It's tough, but who do you think should win? This author would vote for The Last Guardian, but it's a really difficult choice. Mull it over in the comments section below.

Really? The last guardian?! It would actually surprise me if that game turns out to be any good, it hasn't got history on it's side looking at games that went to a development hell.
For me it's just Horizon, that game was all I could think about after the e3, when the initial surprise of FFVII, TLG and Shenmue faded away. Horizon seems like a game that is made for this generation and this decade, whereas the other 3 are clearly not. I'm not sure how this will work out, but it looks so great that I'm positive I'm gonna like it best out of all PS exclusives. I am a bit worried though that we won't see it in 2016...
Last Guardian because hype. meh.
For me, it's either Horizon or Uncharted. No Man's Sky is a good candidate as well but probably the least likely.
At this point, got to give it to Uncharted 4.
Uncharted 4 takes my vote. Its more of a known quantity than the others but I must admit Horizon: Zero Dawn has my interest in both the concept and genre. These 2 are by far my most anticipated exclusives! I can't say that any of the other 3 have much interest to me.
I really don't like 'Bloodbourne' or that style of game. I would rather play games like Forza, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Rare Replay, Gears of War Ultimate and even Halo 5 (despite the fact I think the franchise has lost its way since 343 took over) and as we know, reviews are subjective. I would also rather play Scalebound, ReCore and Sea of Thieves than the other 3 mentioned here. I am not saying that Playstation exclusives are poor and lacking and would always mention some of the others (the Order, Until Dawn, Tearaway, Uncharted collection etc) in its defence. Just because this is what appeals to me in terms of gaming doesn't mean I think others should also like the same things too...
Since its first reveal, I've been intrigued by Horizon. Here's hoping it turns out great!
My vote would have to be for Horizon: Zero Dawn personally.
No Man's Sky is coming to PC, how is that a PS4 exclusive?
My top 3 most anticipated games of 2016 genuinely are Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, Horizon: Zero Dawn and The Last Guardian. Picking one was an absolute nightmare. I ended up choosing Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
I think it'd go with uncharted 4, but my pick would be horizon. I hadn't been that intrigued with a Sony exclusive in some time.
At the moment, I plan on getting all 4 of those games.
I have such good taste!
@DerMeister exactly. Horizon or uncharted 4 he can't wrong with either one. I am more excited for horizon since its anew IP. I never understood the fascination with last guardian anyway. I wouldn't even be surprised if it didn't come out next yr. then shu tells us they want show us last guardian footage to not spoil the story. That is a bunch of BS marketing talk. That game could be the bigger bust ever along with shenmue 3.
@BAMozzy don't take this the wrong way but I have no interest in any Xbox exclusives. I don't own a Xbox either but I looked at all those games and they don't intrigue me. Quantum break is the only one semi interesting.

@Ewflex Of course I don't take it the wrong way. I tried to make a point of saying this was from my perspective only and appreciate that others may have a different opinion to mine. Its a good job we all like different things - hence we have some diversity - even within genres too
It shows you how strong PS4's lineup is next year. And that's just with games we know about.
I don't really want any of those, well actually I would like uncharted but I want it when its a little cheaper.
For me, i REALLY want No Man's Sky, and i hope it is like what they are advertising, and i hope there is detail, if it is, that is my #1 pick. My #2 pick is Horizon, this game seems really, cool, (plus the detail is amazing) and i am not even much of a 3rd person fan. Next is Uncharted, like a modern Assassins Creed, but better (AC has sucked lately) And finally Last Guardian. It just looks weird...
Out of those games it's close between Quantum Break and Uncharted 4. I know what Uncharted is and that it's going to be awesome. QB has a lot to prove, but every Remedy-made game that I've played I've enjoyed so QB is very high on my list. After that it's Horizon. Not hyped for the other two at all really, I know for sure that The Last Guardian is just not my kind of game.
all on the list are great but I cant decide between no mans sky and horizon
Easy Persona 5
To early to say but, they all look promising.
Ratchet and Clank the ultimate budget release at the price below a standard 3DS title that Sony isn't pushing on its own media but Insomniac is? No? Anyone?
I'll go back to my corner then.
@Volcanox It wasn't nominated for anything..... Still looking forward to it though. I do agree that it needs more love.
Horizon for me I think.
Would question why Zelda isn't on there, it's about as vague a 2016 as The Last Guardian is.
This is where the games industry shows how immature it is. The awards for games that are not even out!!! Stupid. At a show you can have 'game of the show' as its quite natural. As is a game of the year, top 10, best selling game, game of the months, most played
, most pre ordered - at a push.
But most wanted award. Seriously....
@BrizzoUK B/c it doesn't have a name or a console? How do you vote for a game that doens't have a name?
I'm planning on buying a PS4 for Uncharted so I suppose there's really no point in my even thinking about it. My hype for Ratchet & Clank is somwehat diminished by it's being a reboot, if it were an entirely new game it might be above U4.
So did anybody else read "PS4 Exclusives" and think, "exclusives, what exclusives?" thinking it was referring to the current 2015 games? Obviously next year looks great, and a great time to buy 1 - though I suppose this holiday might be better, but I just can't - but my brain was going into overdrive trying to think what "games" plural could be most wanted on PS4 this year. Bloodburne and... I drew a blank.
Oh, Dreams is my most wanted game, but it wasn't on the list. And if it's VR only I don't want it at all. I want nothing to do w/ that helmet on my head.
@rjejr Haha maybe it can have its own myth category... The enternal carrot. Imagine if the pull a 2 version Pokemon/FE style (or more aptly Oracles) on WiiU and NX... NL would explode with frothing anger.
I'm looking forward to U4, first ever play through in the Uncharted Collection and I loved them, well 1 was a slog, but had the makings of a great series. Also excited for R&C, I always ignored PlayStation 3D Platformers as I lived in my mighty n64/GC 3D platformer tower... Now I'll beg for any scraps going of 3D joy! Plus, it looks amazing, timeless graphical style, so it's a win in my book. With that and Tearaway I'll have more 3D Platformers on ps4 than on WiiU... The world is a strange place to me now.
To be honest Quantum Break is one of the main reasons i got an xbox one, but Horizon is going to be the winner no doubt, it's amazing, am patiently waiting for it. No man sky n uncharted 4 are great for sure, but i think that Horizon with it's "horizon", it will be on the top.
I was actually expecting to read Street Fighter 5 instead of last guardian tbh
@BrizzoUK myth category
Zelda U
Portal 3
Half Life 3
The Last Guardian
Sorry, I still don't believe that one is out in 2016, if ever. FFXV only just came off of that list for me this year, KH3 is a coin toss.
For me Horizon for being a new thing, and I like Guerrilla Games. Followed closely by Uncharted 4 of course.
@rjejr
Like I said in the other article, I am liking Second Son a lot, and tbh I am this close to getting Killzone later on. Those were IMO the best old exclusives, recently, remove Bloodborne and there are barely things to get excited about.
@sinalefa I never got into Killzone as I don't play FPS. I did consider Resistance 3 for the storyline and Insomniac, but playing the demo, I just couldn't play an entire game like that.
Probably quantum break but if zero dawn turns out to be a proper RPG then that, unlikely though.
Its tied between The Last Guardian and Horizon for me.
Dreams looks great as well, but not sure if being released next year.
