Rocket League loves a good seasonal celebration, and this Christmas it'll be feeling the festive spirit. Psyonix has announced on the PlayStation Blog that its Mutator Mashup playlist will soon be replaced by a cool mode named Snow Day, which will bring a chilly twist to the title's usual gameplay. Set to release on 14th December, you should expect frosty fields and ice hockey pucks in this all-new gameplay option.
But that's not all: the developer will also be rolling out a range of holiday themed goodies that you'll be able to unlock through until 4th January. To grab the goods you'll simply need to play the game – it doesn't matter if you win or lose. Gifts include a new Xmas rocket trail, along with Christmas tree toppers and candy cane antennas. And if that's not all, the title's all-new expansion, Chaos Run, will arrive from the wasteland next week.
