Well, this is… Awkward. Sony's been chastised by many armchair pundits for putting too many resources into remasters – but this new European 1TB PlayStation 4 bundle comes with three of them. It looks like a bad joke at first blush, but the platform holder's clearly looking to capture non-PlayStation 3 owners with this reasonably priced package.
And when you look at it like that, it's not a bad deal; The Last of Us is one of the greatest games ever made, while Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection comprises three top quality titles. We're not as keen on God of War III Remastered, but as far as visual spectacle goes, the port holds up. And at £289.97 from GameStop, if you never owned a PS3, then you can't really go wrong.

A 1TB PS4 and 5 good - to - great games... that's got to be attractive to anyone who missed the PS3 era. Might as well have been called the 'Xbox360 upgrade package'...
I have quite a few PS3 games, bought a PS3 at launch, and yet of those in the bundle I have only played GoW3 and the first Uncharted. Just because you owned a PS3 last generation (and bought quite a few games for it) does not mean you actually played all of these. There were so many great games out in the last few years of the PS3 that its quite easy to just not have time for them all.
@thedevilsjester That's very fair. It basically a good bundle for anyone who missed these games first time around.
This should have been my bundle!!
Any news of this bundle for the USA?
Or any other bundles in general? I've been wanting to get a ps4, especially with Black Friday coming up, but I haven't seen and crazy bundles that really catch my eye. Although I do think that uncharted is a good deal, I own all three already :/
@flummerfelt It sounds like the 500GB PS4 Bundle with Uncharted Collection is going to be the main BF bundle for the US. The other bundles seem to be the Star Wars and Call of Duty ones.
Or you can get an Xbox bundle that comes with Halo 5 or one that comes with Forza 6. Real current-gen exclusives. If I were just upgrading now - even if I missed those games last-gen - the X1 bundles are more enticing to me than this bundle. Not that Sony doesn't have games it could bundle. How about one that features inFamous, Bloodborne and Until Dawn (which turned out to be 100 times better than it had any business being)? That to me would be a much better way to promote your current-gen machine.
@Cleric20 I would have loved it if Sony had the balls to call this the 'Xbox 360 upgrade package'
@Gamer83 This is obviously just what's packed in from the manufacturer, no doubt this bundle will be bundled even further by retailers with more games like those you mention...
Omg, that's the perfect bundle for me! I hope it comes to NA someday!
@Gamer83
I don't get it either, it's almost as if Sony is doing it on purpose. They have plenty of native PS4 exclusives they could bundle, yet they choose to go with these. That said, if it'll drop in price as much as the One has dropped this month (just ordered 3 One bundles to send back home for €299 each; bundled with FIFA16 AND Fallout 4 or Battlefront... That's insane), it surely means lots of hours of gaming for your money.
Just announce the PS VR starter pack already, the wait is killing me!
If I didn't have a ps4 already - this bundle would make me fold. Fantastic bundle.
Well I have ordered this bundle. When my ps3 died I had 101 things on & ended up putting off ps4. I have a gaming pc so have been using that. But been looking for a ps4 bundle with all the deals for xmas/black friday etc.
I have played all of them on ps3 but still looking forward to play them again remastered. Bundle been pushed back to 3rd december. But have a couple of ps4 games in drawer from Black friday sales. Wife kids cats are all going out the day after it arrives.
