We're sure that you can forgive us the brief WAYP this week as we ready ourselves for PlayStation Experience 2015. Sony's show will be consuming most of our attention here at Push Square Towers, but we're all hoping to squeeze in the odd gaming session or two. You'll find our itinerary below.

I haven't really got time to play my PS4 this weekend, but I will be hopping on my Vita and playing BigFest during any PSX 2015 down time. I may also start downloading a couple of PS2 games for my new-gen console – Twisted Metal Black is definitely top of my wish list.

I'm probably not going to have a ton of time this weekend for games, but I might try squeezing in some time with NHL 16 or The Witcher 3 alongside a review that I'm currently working on.

I recently completed Uncharted: Drake's Fortune again, as I don't think I've played it since I beat it in 2008. I'm tempted to return to the Out of the Frying Pan and Heading Upriver chapters in Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, because it's a lively bit of fun to have a quick blast through the set piece Jeep and Jet Ski levels.

With my first semester in graduate school coming to an end, I think that it's finally time for me to stop putting off the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2. I hope to foil Big Boss' plans this weekend in preparation for playing as the legend himself in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

I'll be jetting off to sunny Medici this weekend, "helping" the local people by blowing up everything in sight, attaching people to fuel canisters, and generally acting like a thorn in the side of General di Ravello. I'll also be fitting in some Guitar Hero Live, seeing as a load of tracks have been added since the last time that I played.

Not much for me this weekend I am afraid; I found out that on Sunday that I will be attending PlayStation Experience. Still, I might see If I can wrap up Mega Man 3 in the Mega Man Legacy Collection though this weekend.

still working through my Back log, nearly got Star Ocean 4 done, then on to Tales of Xillia 2
I'm just doing the final side missions in Dragon Quest Heroes. If I can finish that today I think I'll start Donkey Kong Country Returns Tropical Freeze.
Many games, nothing special, but mostly I spend my time with Gems of War!
DMC on ps4. The DLC that I missed from the ps3 version is much better than I thought it would be.
Money well spent!
Some Gauntlet I think, and Fallout 4 which after 6 or so hours I'm finding rather 'meh'. I'll keep plugging away at it but I'm not blown away at this point.
Divinity still has its hooks in me so I might start a second play through of this :/ God help me.
I played the ff15 demo the other day for 10 mins and I was horrified by what I saw,
I'm really worried now because i have been waiting to play the final version for ages and now I'm not so sure, perhaps I need to give it a bit more of a try but the warping all around the area didn't appeal. What did u guys think?
Have you played it ? I'm more concerned ff7 will be like this 😢
@marston1983 They said the combat system is greatly enhanced now from what we saw in the demo, but I personally didn't mind it in the demo.
@JesWood13 phew that's a relief, perhaps I need to give it a few hours this weekend.
Still.hoping ff7 will be released this weekend, the old version I mean.
My textbook. exams time.
This weekend, I'll be exploring a lot of Planet Mira in Xenoblade Chronicles X! I am a huge fan of the original game and I've been waiting YEARS for this game! That will probably take up most of my free time this weekend, haha. Later on, probably Fallout 4 and Black Ops 3, and then we're having a Rock Band 4 gathering at my buddy's house. I'm so pumped for this year's PSX! I could also end up downloading and at least starting Rogue Galaxy or Dark Cloud. So pumped for PS2 games!
@marston1983 I never played FF7, so I might get that as well. Need to see what all the hoopla is about, haha. I'm stoked for its remake at least.
I finally picked up Life is Strange and plan on giving that a go.
@marston1983 ignore the FF15 demo. I've tried to play it 3 times and it's just bad IMO. I really think when you have the full game in your hands and arnt just dumped in a field it'll be a much better experience. Even the combat, which I am not keen on, will likely feel better when we've had the ability to customise the characters a little more to our own tastes from the get go.
For a demo to be good it needs to start at the beginning of the game I reckon!
@kyleforrester87 wise words Kyle, wise words, I just didn't like the characters, w voices didn't sound right especially the guy with the glasses, u think ill be changing the voices to Japanese, they always seem to sound better
@marston1983 yeah I agree, I'm hoping all that stuff will just grow on me. Odd thing not to like but I don't like the menu sound effects :/ lol
Assassin's Creed Unity - just had a lovely balloon ride - and some Football Manager 2016.
Well I will also add that I plan on playing some GTA Vice City and TM: Black as well now. Two of the best PS2 games ever.
NBA2K16, as usual.
@john_c Unity is pretty underrated IMO, got a bad rep because of all the launch troubles (which is fair enough) but really enjoyed it myself still think the stories rubbish mind you but exploring the world is great
As for WAYP I'm still ploughing through my 2nd play through of Bloodborne, just up to Nightmare Realm 1 now so not far to go till I finish it again I'll buy the DLC before I finish though because I don't want to tackle it in NG+, I'd get wrecked! Need to finish the chalice dungeons too
@Hego I forgot to include Bloodborne in my weekend playlist! Hopefully I can fit that in as well. Just a warning though, the new expansion is blistering difficult on NG+.
I don't think there's going to be much for me. I'll replay Uncharted 3 a bit and play some Dissidia on PSP (I'm on the 000 story, Feral Chaos sucks). My uncle got an Xbox One with Rare Replay included, so if he's not using it I'll try to play that. Don't kill me, please....
@Tasuki Congrats on going to PSE! Hope you enjoy it!
Having a short break from Fallout to play some Rocket League, I'm absolutely loving the new wasteland arena and I really cannot wait to see what else they come up with. Other than that I'll be playing a bit of the Uncharted beta which I think is quite excellent when I eventually get a match started.
Uncharted 4 Beta and maybe Trine 2
Friday - Gauntlet with @iDangerMouse and @kyleforrester87
Saturday - I'm out pubbing it
Sunday - More Gauntlet and depending on time MGS V
Final Fantasy XIV (PS4): like I always do, but I will be levelling up my lancer to make into a dragoon.
Dragon's Crown (Vita): pretty fun game so far, about 4 hours into it so far
Borderlands 2 (Vita): my favourite shooter on a portable playing as a mechromancer, just got to sanctuary.
Fallout 4 is being crazy with the respawns so I'll try a new game without autosaves and see if that helps. Battlefront has lost my attention after reaching only level 8, but MGS5 sounds like the perfect antidote.
I got my first PS4 plat yesterday on Second Son. Today Splatfest and tomorrow I will show the PS4 to a friend.
I also managed to tear my bro away from Uncharted 3 mp with the Handsome Collection.
@JesWood13 Ya I had planned to wait during my first play through which I only finished recently to wait before the final boss and play the dlc, but I got too excited being near the end and went ahead and beat the final boss, forgetting all about the dlc didn't think I'd manage it in NG+ so I started a new plsythrough to play the dlc which I'm also hunting down some trophies I missed too in it
Rise of the Tomb Raider and Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition
Fallout 4, Doom Alpha.
Probably just some Killzone Mercenaries on Vita. Might start Dead Space 3. I know I'm late to the party lol
I'm still picking at the challenges for Saints Row 4 Re Elected for the platinum, only 4 more to go. Try and finish episode 2 of Life is Strange. Maybe sneak in a dash of Madden or Battlefront too for change of pace.
