Yes, it would appear as though Bethesda still has plans for Fallout 4 mods on PlayStation 4. Although the developer confirmed last year that it was planning on bringing mods to the console versions of the game, we're still yet to hear any concrete details.
That could all change in the near future, however. Replying to a tweet from @Godly_shit1 [Pfffft - Ed.] the official Fallout Twitter account states that "we'll be sharing more details soon. Stay tuned."
What are you expecting from Fallout 4's console mods? Are there any changes that you'd make to the post-apocalyptic title? Try to accept that nude body mods are unlikely in the comments section below.

@Swiket To be totally honest, I'm not even that bothered. Obviously, some mods undoubtedly improve the game, but I think it's fine as it is. When it comes down to it, I'm not sure about installing mods onto my save when I could end up corrupting about 500 hours of playtime.
Of course, I think it's inevitable that Bethesda will implement some sort of limit on what can and can't be brought to consoles anyway. I think the most interesting thing about all of this will be seeing how Bethesda actually handles it.
I will be anxiously awaiting the fallout 4:skyrim mod. Inputs all of skyrim into fallout 4, enabling you to either play fallout 4, or skyrim. I will probably be waiting forever but I can dream right? Why couldn't I have won the last powerball. First check I wrote would have been to Bethesda to hire developers to work on an elder scrolls collection for current gen. I wouldn't even want profit, just pay me back what I paid when it undoubtedly makes its money back and I will even pay for my own collectors edition. Oh well.
@ShogunRok that's why I plan on making two save files. One from the beginning, and one after my normal save data. That way I have 3 main saves, my normal non modded data, my latest data modded, and beginning with mods right out of the gate lol.
I wonder about trophies though. I hope for any save with mods on it, it'll disable trophies. That would be way too easy lol. Well no matter I'm still hoping for some damn good mods!
I'm curious to see how it works. Of course, I'll be taking the time to duplicate my saves as well for modding purposes, in case something goes horribly wrong.
To be honest I'd rather them get to work on the dlc and beef up the crafting and settlement building with new items. As for settlement building how about increasing the size limit without the glitch, as well as making it more stable with really big builds.
Mods will be fun but I can't see us getting anything too exciting partly because of hardware limitations but mainly because there will be many more licensing/censorship issues
@carlos82 there are mods out now that improve the crafting and settlements if they come to ps4 that would be amazing
I would rather them squash the remaining bugs before implanting mods, & working on DLC.
I honestly have experienced next to no bugs, and I have several hundred hours and multiple play through some logged into this game. It crashed on me twice, but both times when I reloaded it brought me right back to where I was when it crashed. I would love that cell shade graphics mod that the pc version has and would also like a vehicle mod, that would be cool.
Doing a play thru now where I am collecting all the bobble heads before I do any of the main quest. Pretty awesome and pretty hard, and still finding new things even after so many hours logged.
I just want the DLC now... I haven't played since beating the game and getting the Platinum.
I'm not too bothered about mods but I would be happy if they added the option to put settlement work benches where you want and hopefully a variety of different weapons that fit in with the game.
Not really fussed about Mod's when's the next DLC out? And the patch, excited about that.
This game is so last year. I've moved on to (greener) pastures new. New story DLC please.
