Hideo Kojima's very public technology tour has touched down in London, where he'll presumably spend the start of next week checking out the latest titles from London Studio and Media Molecule. For those that haven't been keeping up, the Metal Gear maker has spent a chunk of the past seven days travelling around the United States with PlayStation 4 architect Mark Cerny, where he's visited Sucker Punch, Sony San Diego, Sony Santa Monica, and several other Sony-owned facilities.
It's extremely likely that the European leg of his journey will involve some hands-on time with Dreams and VR titles like The London Heist, before he potentially moves on to Paris to meet with Quantic Dream, and concludes his trip in Amsterdam at Guerrilla Games. We're not sure exactly what the auteur hopes to get out of the voyage, but it's a good opportunity for him to meet the other members of the PlayStation family and experience their studio cultures, before he begins work on his own PS4 exclusive.

Maaan, it would be so cool to be able to visit all of these places in the course of a week!
@Azikira Yeah, amazing. I'd love to be a fly on the wall when Kojima and Cerny have dinner, too - wonder what they talk about!
Hmmmm, Kojima visiting Media Molecule you say? They're based in Guildford, where I live - time to camp outside until I get to say hi!
@get2sammyb You'd have to be a Japanese fly to understand them!
I bet they have some interesting, yet nerdy conversations about coding, tech and knowing what many Japanese videogames are like - big breasted women!
@SteveButler2210 I'll meet you there, I'm only down the road in Tunbridge Wells!
Maybe we could put on Japanese masks and pretend to be part of Kojima's entourage to get sneaky access to MM's offices and steal some gaming scoops for Sammy!
[or not]
@Dodoo I've got a Diamond Dogs tshirt, they can't turn down a Diamond Dog!!
@SteveButler2210 lol, we're as good as in!
Like a Collage Scout courting a new recruit, they are trying to get Kojima to join the PlayStation family!
@3Above very possible. Kojima wants artistic freedom, but needs money as well. He could be testing the waters to see if Sony would meet those needs. Team Ico would suggest they do...we can hope!
If the trip doesn't end in romance in Paris and a proposal then it's been a waste.
@get2sammyb They'll probably chat about how much Destiny sucks and what a big flop it was.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Bwhahah. Yes!
@Dodoo they hit Guildford today. I ditched work (in Dorking) early, rushed to Guildford, and waited around the station longer than I'm proud to admit (2 hours) in hopes of meeting them. No luck. Gutted
@SteveButler2210 Oh that's such a shame man, nice one for trying though.
I saw on his twitter account him posting pics at MM and of Guildford. The annoying thing is you probably only just missed him, he couldn't have been that far away?!?
@Dodoo figured it was worth a shot for a once in a lifetime opportunity like that!
But yeah later I saw MM did a sort of goodbye / thanks for an amazing day post at 4pm, so I figure if I'd made the earlier train I genuinely would have been in with a shout!
D'oh, I'm gutted for you!
Having said that it could be quite awkward if he doesn't really speak English and (I presume) you don't speak Japanese.
You might have both just stood there making funny hand gestures to each other! lol
