Konami loves nothing more than a consultation with its legal team, and we suspect that the nefarious publisher will be huddled around a boardroom table right now pondering how it can shut down Shadow Moses, a fan remake of the original Metal Gear Solid game. The hobbyist upgrade's being helmed by Airam Hernandez in Unreal Engine 4, and he's documenting his progress on Facebook.
Of course, as alluded above, it's only a matter of time before the iron fisted organisation that owns the IP rains on everyone's parade with a cease and desist letter. You may want to watch the trailer embedded below before it gets slapped with a copyright strike, then, because considering Konami's behaviour in recent weeks, it's only a matter of time.

They may just be better off hiring the guy. Unless they don't intend to do anymore mgs without Kojima...
Not sure i understand these things. Clearly it will be stopped, so i can only assume this is someone marketing themselves. Is that right?
@chiptoon that's right.
@chiptoon its also to show the publisher that people want this so hopefully they can make an official one
@themcnoisy Agreed - that said, I think it is a cool way to market yourself. I wonder if these things pay off?
Black Mesa is not banned by Valve, despite of being a fan remake of the original Half-Life.
