Should I get SOMA? No one answered me on Twitter.
@get2sammyb I saw your tweet, but I have no idea, I can't play horror games :/
Literally just bought Chivalry a day before this sale lol
£15.99 for BlazBlue is a great price.
@TripleGK You can say that about everything, though. Main thing is that you feel like you got your money's worth.
I've got SOMA. I'm a horrorhead and I've been meaning to play this - also I hear it's not the usual horror fare too. It's going to be an interesting one!
@Patinator that's so sickening just bought the game myself in the sale, was planning on getting it at some point soon, can't believe it's gone on sale so soon
@patinator what is Chivalry like I got it on PS3 but always went offline when I wanted to play. Would still like to give it a go on PS4
I think I will buy a few telltale games they are a good price. I have them on PS3 but prefer to have them on PS4
I also want to buy Broken Swords but think that will be a free PS Plus game soon
@Hego Yeah luckily its only £4 difference though still worth £ 15 for me I reckon, what do you think of it so far?
@dryrain I think its great fun, if your looking for a medieval battle game like I am you'll enjoy it if you can get past the glitches etc. It's meant to be a bad port from the PC but it still runs pretty well for me... I played it yesterday about 9 hours straight and had a blast but you will die a fair bit and there is certain people with dodgy connections or really good ones and you just get slaughtered by them. The combats pretty simple and you can have some good tactical fights when you end up on your own, it's also really gory and you can slice off all the limbs etc which is really amusing/ satisfying lol. The team objective gamemode is probably the best gamemode, which see's you defending castles, attacking villages etc, there's a nice variety. I'd definitely recommend it for this price if you want a medieval multiplayer game, just it is a bit clunky but there's nothing else like it on PS4.
@Patinator Haven't played it yet, won't get to it till next week but I'll let you know what I think
BlazBlue Chronophantasma Extend for 20 Euros!!!
For some strange reason there is no blog post...
So my question is...is Chivalry a good game to have on PS4? Does it have a large player base or is it already dead?
@get2sammyb got it on the sale and been playing most of the day. Definitely worth it for me, although it's not that scary. Creepy atmosphere, but not if you're looking for jump scares. The story is very interesting though, deals with similar themes as The Talos Principle, albeit in a more grounded way.
I'd love to see a "customer appreciation week" sale where every game that was part of a PSN sale in 2015 would be on sale again for that same low sale price. There were so many great sales that happened in 2015 that I couldn't afford at the time, and I'd love a last-chance opportunity to pick up some of those games now that I have some Christmas money readily available.
Pass.
I'd get Alien Isolation, GoT Season Pass and Farcry 4 if I hadn't already blown my "fun budget" this month. To be fair, Alien Isolation Nostromo Edition is just £18 on Amazon at the moment, so it's just a single piece of DLC you'd need to buy and at least you'd have the core game and other DLC on-disc. Not sure what the Gold Edition for Farcry 4 is but the regular games is just £17 on Amazon now.
At least Telltale's GoT is digital only, right? (At least for now).
@SkanetWasTaken @belmont It's probably because it's not going to be all that long until Centralfiction comes out on PS4 (it's been out in arcades for nearly 2 months) so this iteration of BB will be redundant for competitive players.
If you mainly play it more casually with friends or just for the storyline, like I do, then of course that's a bargain.
im gonna get Blazblue and Soma ^^
@Patinator Played an hour or so of Chivalry tonight, I really like it but it's quite glitchy at times and its hard to tell if you've hit someone at times, I think it could do with a vibrate feature for when you connect with someone fun though and pretty chaotic at times
