We've only gone and reached our 100th edition of WAYP – an occasion that would be worth marking if this author hadn't got in a muddle and assumed that this week's instalment was actually Issue 99. Whoops. Oh well, at least we've got a bumper article this week for you, with virtually every Push Square team member turning out in force. Let's do this.

I've spent the past 48 hours downloading patches for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and I'm finally ready to tuck back in to the fantasy foray. I liked parts of this game at launch last year and hated others, but I feel I should play a lot more before forming any kind of final opinion. That's fair, no?

Review season has begun earlier than I anticipated, but sometimes you just have to roll with it. So, alongside Samurai Warriors 4-II and dashings of Diablo III co-op, I'll be laying down some critical thinking on a certain title that I'm unable to name. I'll go ahead and take this opportunity to hype up the review itself, which should be available for your viewing pleasure next week.

After over exposing myself to Fallout 4 over the Christmas break, I felt it was time to put this brilliant RPG on the back burner for a bit. This leaves Yakuza 5 the only title on my gaming plate over the weekend, and since I've just completed all of the taxi missions in the opening section – don't ask me why, they were strangely addictive – I'm really keen to get the story moving again.

After telling myself for weeks and weeks that I would beat Rise of the Tomb Raider, I finally did it. So now that I've actually done something I said I would do, I'm going to start telling myself I'm going to beat the first The Witcher 3 expansion until I actually do it. Fingers crossed for this weekend.

This weekend I'm hoping to sink a lot of hours into Steins;Gate. I'm finding that it's not really a game I can pick up for an hour a day during my lunch, mostly because it takes me that long to get my head around all of the theoretical physics. I'm aiming for some real progress this weekend, and what I've played so far has been a lot of fun, so I'm really excited to get into it.

I bought my cousin and his kids Disney Infinity 3.0 for Christmas, and we started to play the Twilight of the Republic co-op storyline during the holidays. I'm visiting him again this weekend, so hopefully we'll blast our way through a few more of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars themed levels.

I'm taking some time off from the PS4 this weekend to brush up on my survival skills with Lara Croft in Rise of the Tomb Raider, and before getting into my next semester of graduate school on Monday, I'll also make some time to plow through Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake and get a good start on Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon.

This weekend I'm planning on playing a variety of games. I just picked up Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition since I never got around to playing this back on the PS3, and I'm also planning on continuing more Adventures of Pip. I might even play some The Crew Wild Run, which I picked up along with a bunch of games from the last Holiday Sale on PSN.

As much as I hate to admit it, I bought Bloodborne on release day and have never taken it out of the cellophane. As such, I'm hoping to spend a nice relaxing weekend finally catching up on Push Square's game of the year...

This weekend I'll be playing WWE 2K16, advancing the career of my far more masculine wrestler. I'll also be finishing off Tearaway Unfolded before moving onto Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, while also fitting in some FIFA 16 to celebrate Liverpool's emphatic win against Exeter [About that, Sam… – Ed]. To prevent an embarrassment like last week, I'm going for much lower stakes. [LOL - Ed]

This weekend I'll be busting down some walls in order to make some more space in the house... No I'm not having an extension, just playing some Rainbow Six Siege. It's gonna be quite a blast and I am really enjoying all of the damage and destruction that can be caused.
Stephen Tailby, Reviewer
Having finished the first of Nathan Drake's adventures earlier this week, I have a feeling Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will steal the show this weekend. I'll also continue the gripping tale of Rico Rodriguez as he blitzes his way through his home country in Just Cause 3, and of course, no WAYP paragraph of mine would be complete without mentioning the perpetually fun Rocket League.

Last weekend I went retro, this weekend I have a couple of newer games that I picked up. The first is some multiplayer mayhem in Call of Duty: Black Ops III. While I am not the best at FPS games, I am enjoying the game a lot. Second is Dragon Age Inquisition, which is my first foray into the Dragon Age world.
Which games will you be celebrating the centenary edition of WAYP with? Go loud in the comments section below.

Going back to my PS3 and playing some White Knight Chronicles and Drakengard 3. Hopefully sprinkle in some FIFA 16 and Ni No Kuni.
I picked up a PS TV so now I can play some Vita games. I'm playing Freedom Wars and Tales of Hearts R at the moment. Also Rebel Galaxy on PS4
I am likely to play at least 1 activity in the Director for Destiny - just to get the exclusive Emblem but after that I expect to be levelling up my MP and Zombies rank in CoD:BO3...
I'll be playing Jade Empire: Special Edition and Bloodborne. I'm really enjoying Jade Empire so far, the writing and choices are great as expected; the combat has also aged alright and is still fun. And Bloodborne is Bloodborne.
Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition. Sorry PS4.
@Jayvir how is the pstv? I've been contemplating it since release. I just want to play vita games. Is it worth it?
I just finished The Order: 1886 last night and it was way better than I was expecting. I actually really hope they make a sequel.
If I play tonight it will probably be Fallout or Rock Band - I'm going on a business trip tomorrow through Wednesday so I don't want to get started on a new game.
@icarusdreams It's functional at least. I can't play some of the Vita games I own back when I had a Vita (like Uncharted, Soul Sacrifice or Gravity Rush), but all of my other PSV and PSP games work fine. I had some quirks with my PS3 controller not registering too well from time to time but it corrects itself. I got it for 30 bucks so I can deal with a few issues if it means being able to play my games again.
Just Cause 3, Yoshi's Woolly World, Call of Duty Black Ops 3, and trying to platinum Fallout 4.
Nuclear Throne, Axiom Verge, and maybe some guitar hero tomorrow. Really liking Nuclear throne! Review was spot on.
I got Blazblue Chrono Phantasm and Wolfenstein the new order from the sales, so I will focus mainly on those with a bit BO3 for online fun.
I'm finishing my Uncharted 3 Platinum and maybe spend some hours on Lego Harry Potter 5-7 Years on Vita.
@Johnnycide thanks!
Ps4: Akiba's Trip,
Wii U: Splatoon.
Xbone: Sunset Overdrive, Fallout 4.
3DS: Persona Q.
Vita: Persona Dancing all night.
I'm visiting my GF this weekend so it's all vita action for me, started playing through the first Sly Cooper game as I never played it when I was young, really enjoying it
@get2sammyb Where you day dreaming of Taylor Swift again??
@Jayvir I really like the PSTV I am not a big handheld person , preferring to play my games on the big tv so it's nice for that option. I also make alot of use with the remote play function. 30 bucks is not a bad deal at all. Hope you enjoy it.
@Jaz007 Jade Empire is an awesome game, I really wish they would make a sequel.
I decided to give Grim Fandango a try. So far, so good. The controls can be a pain. On one screen I'm walking in one direction but as soon as the next screen comes on I'm going in the opposite direction lol. Doesn't ruin the game though, just frustrating.
Farming the first two lanterns in Bloodborne before tackling the executioner and the cleric beast.
Loved that cleric beast battle, such impressive boss battles in bloodborne. Some of the best ever in gaming history IMO. For me it will be Fallout. Started a new playthrough and have already had so many different experiences, love it. Building up caps as we speak to get the overseers guardian. Such an OP weapon yet so much fun.
I just got Destiny and Super Meat Boy. I am enjoying both a lot. SMB in particular is already one of the best platformers I've ever played. Right up there with 1001 Spikes, DKC2, and Shovel Knight.
I'm playing persona 4: dancing all night. Also trying to get some more gold bricks in lego dimensions, planning to 100% that game and I'm currently able to get around 300 of the 480 gold bricks, I'm still missing 4 hub worlds from wich 2 aren't available yet and also missing 3 levels from wich 2 aren't available yet.
@Tasuki Always!
Final Fantasy XIV and some Destiny.
Odin Sphere demo and a bit of Gravity Rush on PS4, also starting a second character on Fallout 4 as a melee build
Nuclear Throne and The Witcher 3
@ztpayne7 the order was great, not open world craziness with loads of replay value - but to be honest, I wish more games were like the order. 2-4 nights depending on your play style and trophy hunting, a nice backstory, some different characters and 3rd person shooting action.
This weekend I'm trying to close down mgs phantom pain. I just don't understand the hate, chapter 2 is ok. Not up to the standards set in chapter 1 but fun. Those pesky kids have ran off from me - should of never became there adopted father snake and left them in the mine.
Some Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Also had some money left over so bought Lego Star Wars: Clone Wars and Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night.
Also started Grim Fandango but I am not too sure if I can be bothered working out the obtuse puzzles.
My plans currently involve some superhero action (Infamous), beating some skulls (Tekken), some time travel (Crash 3), and maybe a little fantasy time for added flavor (FFVIII).
@themcnoisy yes exactly. As much as I love fallout and the witcher, I don't have enough time for every game to be that long. It was almost refreshing to play it being linear and story driven, and overall it was a refreshing setting (didn't play much Bloodborne and I haven't played syndicate).
Not sure really, maybe i'll mess around on J-Stars
I just finished training with Frieza but didn't have time before work to find Beerus for my last master in DBX. After I find the God of Destruction I will probably try to farm dragon balls for a wish and then I'm finally going to start Bloodborne. Back log January is going well.
My backlog of games is getting out of control. I started to play Sleeping Dogs, and I'm not a prude, but man all the swearing and adults themed conversations made me stop playing. I don't mind swearing, but to swear just for the sake of swearing just seems like poor writing...maybe the story will get better, but right now I'm not impressed.
I'll probably play some Disney infinity 3.0 to help cleanse my soul
Today I finally got me a Dreamcast so I will be playing old games. Somehow Shenmue refuses to run, though.
I will probably keep playing Mordor on PS4.
Xbox 360: Uno - online matches
Still ploughing through Just Cause 3, which Ive been enjoying mostly, & am not too far into Dragon Quest Heroes. I just want Ratchet & Clank already to be perfectly honest though
Rainbow Six Siege
Dark Souls 2 SotFS
999
Project Diva 2nd
PC: Bastion
PS4: Star Wars
XOne: Forza 6
Dragon Quest Heroes (PS4)
Final Fantasy XIV (PS4)
Super Mario Sunshine (GCN)
Streets of Rage 2 (Genesis)
he majority of the time I will be playing dying light and just cause 3
I'll be playing ffvi on the vita and fallout 4 , I'm still finding my feet with this game bt I like it a lot I've purposely avoided in depth reviews as I like to go into most games blind.with 2016 looking to be huge for games my backlog is goin to grow huge, if I get the time I'll also try to finish witcher 3 expansion
I'll be playing Dark souls: prepare to die edition. After finishing playing Bloodborne a few months back I was left wanting more. Also I'll be playing legend of Zelda oracle of seasons on 3ds and maybe some final fantasy 10 on my vita.
@icarusdreams Oh man, I miss that game White Knight Chronicles, wish they kept the server up for that game. =/
Here is what I have been playing recently.
[PC] Final Fantasy 14: Heavensward
Fighting Shiva, and being frozen like an Ice Cube. http://i.imgur.com/3fWJ811.png
Lvl: 60 | Class: Ninja | Item Level: 204
http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/character/7298661/
[PS3] Dragon Age: Origins
Really liking what I am playing, I didn't like it previously but gave it more time, and it grew on me.
[PS4] Black Ops III
I didn't think I would be going back to Call of Duty, but this game kind of rekindled the love for it, although it has Issues that need to be addressed I do enjoy It for the most part.
I do like Treyarchs Call of Duty games more. shrugs
[PS4] Dark Souls II: Scholars of The First Sin
Love the Souls games, and especially liking DKS II more than DKS I.
[PS4|PC] Gems of War
Neat little Puzzle/RPG/Strategy game. Win matches you get rewards like Gold, Troops, and Weapons. If you get enough Souls you can upgrade your troops to make them stronger.
And in battle you have to match Gems to power them up to be able to attack. If you haven't tried it, give it a go, good little game to past the time of boredom.
@iDangerMouse_ Ya really liking the first game anyway, I have the trilogy on vita do I'll get around to Sly 2 eventually
PS3 - Yakuza 5
Xbox One - Rise of the Tomb Raider
honestly? splatoon, damn what a game, yet a lot of kid haters because of its brightly and anti cod style.
@carlos82 Just a warning, melee build is fun, but also can be frustrating and VERY difficult, especially if you try it on very hard or survival like I did.
@blakey78 I thought it had the RE style tank controls? At least the original realise. I haven't tried the remaster yet.
@Matt_Berial To be honest, you're really doing DAO a disservice by playing it on a console. The controls are so bad that doing anything other than auto-attacking quickly becomes a huge chore. The console version was outsourced to a little company with few resources (like what happened with Arkham Knight on PC) and it shows. DAO has a lot of flaws outside of the controls but it's still a much, much more fluid and smooth experience on PC.
I just finished an animated parody of Star Wars and Fallout 4.. First time 2D animator. Definitely a big step for this mostly 3D animator xD

Just finished Metal gear solid V Ground zeroes which was even shorter than I expected. So it's time to move on with The phantom pain.
I'm playing Divinity. I had to start again as my combo of ranger and knight wasn't working with Madora (another knight) in the party. Ranger and wizard seems a lot better now.
Great game, nice old school RPG.
@DestinationPs I completed ground zeroes in 2 hours. I'm at 90 hours in the phantom pain and still going. What a game.
Playing Elder scroll online. Like it so far, but hard to get ppl to do dungeons and stuff.
@ApostateMage I started with ranger and knight. Was a bit tough at the start but after picking up Madora and the Mage in the town I had 2 swordsmen, ranger and healing Mage which worked well. I then taught my ranger and 1 swordsman some offensive magic and kept the last swordsman as a bit of a tank.
Destiny and Mad Max for me.
Not much, too many exams. Only The Walking Dead S1 on Vita and a bit of FTL and Siege Wars on PC
Flipping addicted to Elder Scrolls online after it on sale - surprisingly imo better than skyrim. Wish I didn't now - been playing til 7 in the morning! Panda eyes Mixing it up with The Walking Dead season 1 and Sine Nora on PS vita and Last of us again.
@Matroska I don't have an issue with it on consoles, other than some slow downs when stuff gets chaotic. I can switch menus really quick since I got used to them pretty fast, I also have it on PC as well. I play on it with a Warrior and on console a Mage.
Just how I like to play it.
@Matroska Didn't mean to confuse. I meant that you can be holding the down button on the D-pad or analog stick only for the next screen to change to him walking back to the previous screen. It's annoying but not game breaking. Aside from the the controls are quite intuitive. I've completed it now and must admit I really enjoyed it. Some of the puzzles are difficult to crack, but when you figure it out it can feel quite rewarding.
