Our friends at Pure Xbox, who are fast becoming the official source for all Platinum Games screenshot leaks, have laid their green fingers on some shots from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan. The game, which popped up on ratings boards eons ago, is still yet to be officially announced by publisher Activision – despite its achievements appearing online and now these images popping up.
Much like the industrious developer's previous release Transformers: Devastation, it appears to adopt a cel-shaded appearance. This is just one of a several titles in production at Platinum Games, with the team also busy beavering away on NieR Automata, Star Fox: Zero, and Scalebound. There are more screens of the studio's unannounced project through here. Are you liking what you see? Shout cowabunga in the comments section below.

Looks great!
PlatinumGames + TMNT = a match made in gamer heaven.
Cel shading is not something that I like as far as the visual presentation goes. It may work for 'cartoons' but I don't really like it for gaming. I must admit I did watch Transformers and TMNT cartoons but I really loved the Transformer movies effects (even if the films are not the best). Seeing Optimus Prime transform in the movies for example is far more incredible than the cartoons and I don't like all those 'swoosh' lines either.
I think the Cel Shading though suits TMNT more than Transformers although I would still prefer it to look more like the 2007 CGi movie than the cartoons.
Transformers in disguise?
I could go for this, was obsessed with TMNT as a kid.
i'll be honest, not really digging the Art style here
i'm sure being a Platinum Game it will play well but if that picture is anything to go by then i don't like the looks
The new movie is due out in theaters June 3, 2016, which would seem like a good time to release the game, but if it's still unannounced I suppose that is't likely.
As luck would have it, the first half of the movie trailer looks like the TMNT invaded a Transformers movie. Maybe that explains the cell shading?

I am still skeptical about this game, I guess I got burned too many times by TMNT games after the 16 bit era. So far it's looking good. I will say I like the box art's nod to the original comics.
Looks great. Hopefully it turns out well. Like others I'm a TMNT fan, though I grew up on the 2003 show instead of the 80's toon. Yeah, I'm a bad person.
Again though, 4-player co op or no buy.
I reckon this will be less Transformers and more Korra in quality.
It's nice to have Platinum stuff to look forward to every few months though. This, then Star Fox Zero, then Nier Automata.
Love Platinum, though how big is that place?! I know these games aren't big and they clearly run using the same structure, but they churn them out now!
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi same here, I'm excited for this!
I'm a huge TMNT fan so this is great news! Also, @DerMeister I grew up on 2003 TMNT fan too!

I have my doubts even if it is P*. Still too early to really judge, though.
I need to see a trailer.
I need to see a trailer.
F*** yes!
Transformers Devastation is a good game so I'm hopeful Platinum ends the string of bad TMNT games we've had since the 16-bit era closed. If Platinum can't reverse the trend, I don't know which developer can. I thought WayForward was a good choice but unfortunately that one too missed the mark.
Looks good so far, but the box art makes me think this will be a digital only game, and that's kinda disappointing.
Words can't describe the excitement I have for this game! Loving the cel-shading art style and if it's anything like Transformers Devastation, with co-op in place, TMNT fans should hopefully be in for a treat.
The fact that this is based on the IDW comic series is enough to guarantee I'm checking this game out.
