Remember that crumby, cancelled Saints Row game for the PSP? Well, you can play it now. Volition has released the unfinished .iso file online, allowing you to test out the unreleased title for free. This is a pretty unprecedented move, so kudos to the developer for getting the game out into the public domain. We've no idea how upper-management okayed it, in truth.
For those that didn't read our previous article, the spin-off – subtitled Undercover – was in development around the same time as Saints Row 2, but wasn't living up to expectations. It was subsequently canned, and the file was left on a forgotten development kit in the developer's back room. But now it's available for you to play if you so choose. Crazy.

The PSP... Still succeeding to this day where the Vita has failed at.
Besmirching the Vita should be outlawed.
It would be cool if they actually finish it and release it. Maybe fix the resolution and some of the bugs plus update controls
I'm not interested in Saints Row, but this could be an interesting look and the state of pre-release and cancelled games for those who are interested.
Too bad I can't download this onto vita
When's the review?
@Punished_Boss_84 Not a failure for being a decent handheld
Sweet. I'll have to try this!
@SiameseHappyDays
Sure... But that wasn't my point.
The PSP now has 4 open world games I've would bought versus 0 for Vita.
@Punished_Boss_84 Sony won't kill it in the west then something tells me that they have third party even an exclusive coming to vita as long as it does not jump on the ps4, mind you, if you already have one...
I'm still waiting for The Elder Scrolls Oblivion Travels or whatever it was called that was pretty much up and running on the PSP...
