It's a lovely piece of music, but Clair de Lune doesn't half get overused in this industry. ADR1FT, the space-faring sim by threeonezero, is the latest to use the heart-breaking piece, as it splices bits of gameplay with press quotes. This is for the Oculus Rift release, but it's worth remembering that the title – with, we assume, PlayStation VR support – is coming to the PlayStation 4 at a later date.

Adrift on the PS4 for $15? Meh, I'll wait till it's $5.
Adrift on PS VR for $60? Insta-buy!
That's the power of VR, it can take a normal game and make it into an "experience". It'll take at least another 30 years before I'm actually floating in space myself, but till that time it'll be so awesome to float around in this game. VR will change walking, racing, flying and floating sims forever!
I'm still not a big fan of VR for gaming, but for certain "experiences" like this and deep sea exploration - maybe we can finally get a 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea game, though I suppose I'd settle for an Abyss sequel - VR will bring the experience closer to real life. But as somebody who plays mostly platformers and JRPGs I still don't see VR as part of my normal gaming life. For all those FPS fans out there I can see this being very tempting coupled with Move.
@rjejr As long as VR allows for peripheral vision in a first person camera setup I'm down with it. That's something that needs to be changed toot sweet. But outside of that...you use the headset to view a world through your own eyes. Through your head you are the player so FPC away.
And I just know my doctor won't let me use this crap but hey...the game looks good right? Anyone going to mention the actual game and not just VR? No?
I take that back. I used Oculus on my course...jesus christ I nearly chugged.
Yup. Not buying it till psvr comes out
PSVR will make this a definite buy for me.
Feel like I could just re-watch Gravity and get the same experience.
