Anyone who earns the Platinum in Jonathan Blow's brilliant The Witness deserves an honorary PhD. Mark Cerny, the architect behind the PlayStation 4, is the latest to 100 per cent the release, following in the footsteps of our very own Simon Fitzgerald. Better order the gowns, guys – it's graduation time. And there's still a chocolate Hobnob on offer if you can pull it off, Stephen.
Seriously, though, if you haven't played the game yet, puzzling your way through The Witness' brilliantly varied districts is difficult enough, but its secret challenge is even harder. We won't spoil it for those of you who haven't reached it yet, but let's just say that it requires you to master its rules in a god-like kind of way. We get a headache just thinking about it.

SLOW NEWS DAY?!?!?! HURR HURR HURR!
I earned the platinum yesterday.
I'm holding you to that Hobnob, Sammy!
Wow, I actually feel dumber for reading this.
@Quintumply Haha, well done!
Not to be the cynic but he might of cheated on the puzzles
You only to need to look at Mark Cerny to know he's a clever dude eh?!
I'll give him props. Me and puzzle games do not mesh well.
@GlynCR Yeah, my thoughts exactly. There are a few guides up by now.
I prove my genius by not playing garbage trash games like the witness
ᕕ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ᕗ
A greater test to genius is through art, unfortunately Knack doesn't cut it, neither do IQ tests/puzzles as even a dimwit can raise their IQ with practice.
