If you're one of those people that plays split-screen in a game with a friend while taking cheeky peeks at their half of the screen to give you an advantage, then the upcoming release of Screencheat sounds perfect for you. In April 2015 Nicholas McDonnell from Samurai Punk announced the title for the PlayStation 4, and today it's been confirmed for a 1st March release.
This game has been kept on the down-low since its initial announcement so if you don't know what it is, here's a simplified version: Screencheat is a game where you can play with up to four players locally or eight players locally and online, and functions as a first-person shooter – however, the aim of the game is to look at everyone else's portion of the screen to learn where they are, because everyone's invisible otherwise. Genius.

This game is genius.
Very interesting idea but seems like it might be a bit too aggravating? I'm very good at screen cheating to find a person's general location but I still need to see their body to shoot them. I dunno, I'll keep an eye out for impressions at least.
Interesting idea, but I've spent too much time playing Nintendo Land for this not to feel more like a gimmick and less like a game. It could be a gimmick that works, Wii Sports was, but it just seems like this could be fun for a few minutes but not any longer.
Wii Play Motion had a game where you pointed your remotes all over the room looking for ghosts before pulling them in Ghostbusters style. It worked really well, the best part of its mini game collection, but I doubt it could have worked as a stand alone game.
Too bad Sony didn't let PS3 controllers work with the PS4, they should if Move works. It will probably be a long while before I have more than 2 PS4 controllers.
Spray, pray, hurray. Pass.
Not played a split screen game since the early 2000's. Clever concept but would get confusing for me trying to look at the 3 different areas and see where you are going.
Great idea but can't remember the last time I managed to get four mates around a TV to play a game. Probably when I was a teenager! Sounds like a good party game but sadly this kind of stuff just isn't for me anymore.
Cool idea. Reminds me of looking at the other players screens while playing Goldeneye on N64...
Good idea, but if I play a game with my friends we just play online now... Seems like 10 years too late.
Not for me, but I am happy for split screen to be used (even as a gimmick). I'm hoping other games, like Table Top Racing will include couch multiplayer. Online is fun, but faceless. Like my multiplayer personal, so they can see the annoying smirk on my face as I beat them into submission (in the game).

This seems like a really fun idea! Could make for a great party game.
It's an awesome game, I have it on Steam (PC), and one that should be welcomed to the console crowd. It reminds me of the days of Goldeneye, Timesplitters and the original Halo multiplayer sessions I used to engage in. There are tons of weapons and levels that keep it varied and interesting and USP of the invisibility / screen cheat mechanic makes it a laugh a second.
