Sorry for the late WAYP today, it's been a busy start to Saturday. Doesn't mean you can't jump aboard this train a little late, though, as we're on a one-way trip to weekend gaming heaven. Or something. To be honest with you, these introductions get harder to write every week.

I've been on a bit of a walking simulator binge of late, so I may as well wrap things up with Gone Home this weekend. I thoroughly enjoy these kinds of games, but I must admit, I am beginning to crave a bit of Dreamcast-era arcade gameplay now.

Now that I'm nearing the end of my time with The Witness, I'm allowing myself to try out some other games. Namely, I'll be exploring my way through Firewatch.

What with Unravel and Firewatch releasing on the same day, I have a whole lot of game to spend some time with this weekend. Having successfully finished The Witness makes my batch of games to get through a little easier to swallow, but at the end of my next few games still looms Fallout 4. The fact that I've only spent two hours with that game total means I'm going to have my work cut out for me once I get to that point. That may be a tale for another weekend, though.

At the beginning of the year, a friend challenged me and said they bet I couldn't get 24 Platinum Trophies this year. Last week, my housemate went one better and bet me £20 and a real life trophy that he could get more Platinums than me by the end of the year. This explanation is important so you realise what's at stake… This weekend I'll be playing Wonderbook: Book of Potions, and most likely, I'll be loving it, too.

This weekend I'll be on Firewatch duty while unravelling my yarn to do some knitting and solve puzzles. If you hadn't guessed by now, I'll be hoping to play and complete both Firewatch and Unravel.
Stephen Tailby, Reviewer
I still have a few mind-crushingly hard puzzles to conquer in The Witness, so this weekend I'll be donning my thinking cap and scribbling notes and diagrams on anything in my immediate vicinity. In order to not drive myself completely insane, a few rounds of Rocket League's new Rocket Labs playlist with some Push Square community folks will most definitely be on the agenda.

This weekend I think I will finally get around to checking out the new stuff added to Diablo III: Reaper of Souls. Also, in preparation for the release of Street Fighter V, I think I will fire up some Street Fighter II.
And that's your WAYP for this week. Sorry about the late post, but hopefully you'll still have lots to share in the comments section below.

Mainly Dark Souls 2 and when I need a break to fix my sanity level, I play Star Wars Battlefront, got it half price and I liked it alot, but the full price they ask is too much for this game.
Not too sure, but I'll probably play Uncharted 3 so I can collect the freaking treasures. Game crashed on me last time, so I'll keep going today. May keep playing Tekken as well so I can learn Nina, and I'm thinking about some Sonic Adventure as well.
Some DCUO, now that it's cross platform play, I can finally play with my friends.
Gonna work on getting SS rankings on Transformers Devastation
Got back into Fallout 4 after taking a break from it so plenty of that. I have one more mission to complete to finish the Dishonored campaign so I might get that done and I'm very near the end of Danganronpa 2 so might try to finish that off too
Divinity original sin love this game yes it's difficult bt equally rewarding, absolutely stomping thru this game, with the many variables to manage and countless ways to enter and end the battles, this is one rpg I won't forget. Also borderlands 2 on the vita nearly done bt can't get the co- op trophy as no one I kw plays this.Have a great gaming sess everyone
This weekend I'm going to be playing gravity rush remastered, shovel knight and breath of fire 2.
@FullbringIchigo me too man!
Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, Star Wars Battefront for sure. Then I might try to fit in some COD: BO3 and Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D.
Fallout 4 - level 21 and counting (ps4)
FIFA 16 (ps4)
Street Fighter 2 HD remake (x360)
1942 (x360)
I'll be hopefully getting a few games this week, which would be Unravel, Firewatch, and American Truck Simulator on my PC. I'll be playing through those when/if I get them. But if I don't, I'll be continuing my journey to 100% in Just Cause 3, liberating one base after another. But with people visiting this weekend, spending time with my games maybe hard.
Will continue to dodge Xenomorphs in Alien Isolation and may dip into Firewatch which I purchased yesterday.
out of town so just some persona 4 the golden, gravity rush, and mortal kombat.
I'm going slowly through Tomb RaIder and DBZ Battle of Z that I got from a sale on PSN.
Most of the time working on a paper. If i have some time left i'm chilling with the Gf.
Well I probably won't get to Diablo III as planned this weekend, thanks to the double XP weekend on Black Ops III
I want to beat Geometry Wars and maybe Mordor. Could also go back to Rocket League and give it another chance.
Twiddling my thumbs waiting for Bravely Second, don't want to play an RPG in the mean time. Managed 4 hours of Helldivers today, though
The Witcher has put me to sleep for the last time. Just got to Skellige but just.... yawn. Its actually making me want to go to bed earlier than I have to. No joke. I was so wanting to love the game, I'm so disappointed in it.
Playing Unravel with the whole family, and when the kids are in bed, trying to decide between DS2 again or finish DMC. Also just picked up Divinity on sale, so may start that.
Completed my first run through on Diablo 3, and now have started the Witcher 3.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate - have really got into the game now. Just about to take over another borough. A gang fight looms tomorrow morning.
PS4 - Gravity Rush Remastered
PS3 - Yakuza 5
Getting towards the end of Unravel and then may try and get the platinum. It's definitely selling me on Sweden's stunning countryside. Really want to get Firewatch but the comments about performance issues are putting me off at the moment. For such a nice stylistic game (that I know I'll enjoy) I don't want to spoil my experience when I can maybe wait til they've put some sort of fix in.
@Robronoa
Whoa, a Breath of Fire 2 fan? Awesome! it's one of my most beloved games from my childhood.
All Digimon, all the time! But since it's Valentines Day this weekend not a whole lot of gaming is going to happen, instead my wife and I are going to see Zoolander.
@Mega-Gazz Divinity is brilliantly compelling. Agree with you on the Witcher. Can see why people like it, but after a while it just becomes a real slog.
Probably gonna fire up Rise of the Tomb Raider, and bide my time until Fire Emblem Fates releases in 6 days...
@FullbringIchigo BELIEVE IT!!! I'm right there with you. I'm about 35% done so far and loving every second of it.
I've recently discovered the joys of Rogue Legacy so will be playing a bit of that as well as the new updates on Driveclub and Rocket League. The latter of which I'm now rubbish at after playing so much of the snow day playlist, which I wish they would put back on
PlayStation Portable: WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2006, LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy
Nintendo Wii U: LEGO City Undercover
Finished Uncharted 3 yesterday and just finished the first 2 chapters on Uncharted Golden Abyss on the Vita .
Vita: Finishing my platinum on Dragon's Crown and starting up Helldivers
PS4: Double XP CoD: BO3
Tomorrow seeing Pride & Prejudice & Zombies with the Mrs (she is a huge Jane Austen fan and we both enjoy some cheesy zombie carnage)
I hit Fallout 4 up again after the recent patch and finally, finally got my settlement happiness at Red Rocket to 100% for my platinum. Now to wait for the improved survival mode.
I'm gonna tuck into that meaty Bravely Second demo too.
@ThePathsofPain i have done the story mode, still got a few S ranks to get though & i'm about half way through adventure mode
i'm also putting some videos on youtube, Move Sets mainly but some Vs matches too
I've brushed the dust of the older stations so I could I could play SOCOM and Ghost Recon. I really do miss tatical shooters.
I also played some Street Fighter IV while I was there then some Street Fighter II HD.
Dying Light EE.
Here's a funny Valentine gift from Techland:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYXOC_Agd90
Persona 4 Dancing All Night - bought the special edition for the price of the standard and it's been great so far. Even the story is nowhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be for the kind of game it is.
@Mega-Gazz Same here. I wanted to like The witcher. I just couldn't get into it.
@carlos82 I totally agree. I enjoyed the hockey style alot more. Wish they make it a.permanent thing.
Some Transistor today if I find time
A boy and his blob on Vita.
EDF EDF EDF!
@Expa0 it's a awesome game! The 3rd game will always be my favourite as it was the first one I played in series. Like 4th game but could never get into the 5th one.
@Robronoa
Number 3 is awesome too, and a lot more refined compared to BoF2 in terms of gameplay. Both games share amazing soundtracks, stories and characters.
I tried 4, but the game had a weird shift to this arabic style music, which I abolutely hated. And when I don't like the soundtrack in the game, it just ruins the entire experience for me.
I played through BoF1 as well, it was alright. Nothing more, nothing less.
