It's the weekend, which means that it's time to dig out your Little Mix CD and start dancing like it's 2016. Or you could just switch on your PlayStation 4 and sit down with some games, which is what we'll be doing. Everyone's got two left feet here at Push Square Towers, y'see.

I can't talk about what I'll be playing, but here's a friendly hint: Jason! Jason! Jason! Jason! Jason! Jason! Jason! Jason! Jason! Jason!

Well, I'm definitely smitten by Smite again, so I can see most of my gaming time this weekend being spent playing its recently released closed alpha. If you've never given a MOBA a try before, then I'd recommend you give Smite a chance, and with keys for the alpha appearing to be readily available all over the Interweb there's absolutely no excuse.

After staving off the Fallout 4 bug for months and months, the infection finally caught up to me, and I've been playing Bethesda's newest for hours and hours every day for a few days now. I'm afraid the only way this is going to end is by finishing the game, and that could be weeks from now.

I think I'm on the final stretch in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain after having played over 70 hours of it, which is the most exorbitant amount of time I've devoted to a single game in years besides Bloodborne. To break this up, I've started a fantastic, post-apocalyptic journey with a good friend of mine in campaign co-op for Dying Light, so we'll likely be drop kicking zombies to kingdom come.

This weekend I'll be getting in touch with my inner caveman in Far Cry Primal which looks like it will fulfil one of my all-time fantasies of having a Sabre Tooth Tiger as a pet. I've still got some 'final' grinding to do in Disgaea 5 too, even though when I play that my wife has taken to calling me a 'loner weirdo'. Maybe she just doesn't understand me like my DLC Etna does?

I'll be playing plenty of FIFA 16 in order to prepare for the disappointment of the Capital One Cup final, continuing my career mode and Pro Clubs career. I'll also be fitting in some Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, as I haven't played that in a while.

This weekend it's more of a question of what won't I be playing! As my backlog piles up higher and higher, I'm going to try and clear it a bit; Just Cause 3, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, SwapQuest, Far Cry Primal, Helldivers, and Nom Nom Galaxy to name just a few. The big thing standing between me and my backlog, though, just can't be conquered: Rocket League.

I'm going to be playing some Rocket League this weekend after listening to some Xbox One owning co-workers going on about this great game.
Will you be dancin' like Claptrap this weekend, or keeping your feet on the ground with some games? Boogie on down to the comments section and let us know.

Hopefully some Persona 4 golden... But i think i have to read a hundred pages or so tomorrow. ( busy with Master degree on auditing). I like to study but having no time at all just s*ck. I hope to have some spare time when Uncharted 4 releases?.. I have mid terms at the end of March.
One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 and Naruto Storm 4
I'm playing through the Witcher 3 for a third time. Next major pick up won't be until April most likely (Dirt Rally?).
Far Cry Primal and recently picked up a Vita so going through Persona 4 Golden (finally).
After street fighter V being all about the online I figured I needed to move the times so I decided to "Git Gud" at street fighter. I've been watching how to videos and playing ranked matches on Ultra Street Fighter IV on PS4. I won my first match last night against a 2,000 point player so I'm getting there... sort of. Theres a lot to learn and homework to do. I'm actually loving it shhh don't tell capcom I still want an arcade mode.
To relax after that I'm playing the PS4 HD port of FFVII so I can play along with the Game Informer games club.
@Sanquine Good luck with your studying!
I've finally beat Final Fantasy IX today (the first FF I've beaten!) so after I watch Ireland beat England in the rugby might start playing Gravity Rush on VITA and some Stealth Inc.
Bravely Second, finally! It's as good as I'd hoped.
@Sanquine I feel your pain, I have too many games to play and so little time to play them. I have a about 90 books to mark this week and I have about 30 more to go, I'm finding that the games like Fifa and black ops 3 are holding my attention more than fallout 4 and witcher 3 just because I can't be bothered play 200+ hour games ;(
Frankly @get2sammyb I can't believe you said everyone at Push Square has two left feet - you obviously haven't seen my "Hollaback Girl" routine
I'm going to stream the boxing, and then will be glued to the telly for the Capital One Cup final and pray for a Liverpool win... In between them I'll probably jump on Fallout 4 and play some Fifa 16 whilst I'm also going to get a few hours of Chivalry in. I may possibly jump back in ESO but that's unlikely... Oh and probably a few games of Rocket League in between.
Of all things, some Little Big Planet on the Vita and getting to grips with Fallout 4. Just haven't had time this week for much PS4 love.
@marston1983 @get2sammyb Thanks!
@Marston1983 What do you study? Yeah, same thing. I almost any situation i play world of tanks. Most games just take too much time. Elder scrolls games where my thing but with the recent workload i can't see myself playing any rpg right now.
Yesterday I wrapped up the plat on Lego Potter 5-7 on PS3 so I'm going to enjoy some plants vs zombies 2 & tomorrow morning play episode1 of Michonne.
Far Cry Primal! I love this game. I've already put 11 hours into it, and I have SO much left to do. I'm really happy with this Far Cry. I think it is not quite as good as 3, but better than 4.
Got the week off again using it up before the end of the holiday year. Wife in work and the kids at school. I've already installed wolfenstien I hope to as a minimum knock this off my list and uncharted 2. Also managed to join the push sure community, not sure how to interact with it yet bit looking forward to doing so. Oh and I've got an lmg and sub I need to get gold on black ops, trying to avoid the double xp weekend as I seem to get terrible lag.
Rocket League and Pokemon Yellow. Perfect gaming for a hangover!
Final Fantasy XIV maybe a bit of BF4 but I doubt it.
Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright
The same games I posted on PureXbox but the main focus will be Street Fighter V and Fire Emblem Fates Birthright.
More Witcher 3 for me, which I seem to be struggling getting into. Picked up Fallout 4 cheap so I might even start that.
@Farmboy74
What's the problem? Are you getting sidetracked?
Currently playing Firewatch, and either some more of Gravity Rush or The Witness tomorrow.
@Hego
How did the rugby work out for you
Fallout 4! Today a few enormous enemies gave me quite a surprise. I bested a mirelurk queen despite being woefully underlevelled. She was an utter cow but I was able to hide behind a corner and pelt her with grenades.
I got Metal Gear Rising two days ago, and despite beating the story last night, it will probably be all I play this weekend, and it'll probably get regular play in the future. Seriously, amazing game. I'll be doing the Jetstream and Blade Wolf DLCs today.
Uncharted collection, in chronological order (haven't played any). First game is nowhere near as bad as people make it out, I'm enjoying it a lot but can't wait to play the second!
@sub12, I wouldn't say getting side tracked itself is an issue. What did annoy me was that I started the Wondering in the dark mission after meeting Kiera and I was woefully under prepared ( no potions and hardly any food). Ended up restarting from an earlier safe.
I would also say that the combat takes getting used to and I can't stress the importance of getting ingredients for potions etc. I would say that the crafting recipes in this are a lot more complicated than say Assains Creed Black Flag.
Currently playing the Bloody Baron mission (just played the Ciri story).
As a rule I love scifi and fantasy, just need to spend more time with it learning to get to grips with it.
Yakuza 5
PS4: CoD: Black Ops 3 Double XP Weekend
Vita: Digimon Cybersleuth and Hitman GO
Just got me a new laptop and got Skyrim for it and will be playing that. I put in well over 100 hours on the poor PS3 version and plan on doing that and more on the PC version. It's better in every single way.
@finalstan I found Uncharted 1 to be really good too, thought the story was great, but you've got to remember we played the remastered version which ironed out a lot of the problems with the first and brought it up to the level of the other two, something which was very different on the ps3 versions from what I hear. Great game though
@gingerfrog did not go well! I'm escaping the cruel fact our 6 nations is over by flying about in Gravity Rush, it really helps!
I've been buying some older ps4 games that I've missed so I'm currently playing Knack, Littlebigplanet 3 and The Order 1886. Well the first 2 at least because the Order bored me after 20 mind, as for the others Knack is better than I expected and reminds me of early ps1 action/platformers I used to play. Littlebigplanet is fun to play with my stepson but the loading times are horrible and my PS4 ran really slow after playing it, I haven't played it again yet so it may just be an isolated incident
@finalstan I loved the first Uncharted even on PS3, just wait until you play the second if you think the first one is good 😉
Splatoon, The witness and maybe a little bit of the first Uncharted!
Assassin's Creed Syndicate and Lords of the Fallen - which is surprisingly a more satisfying game than Dark Souls 2.
DCUO. And I got Pokémon Yellow, I'll be playing that quite a bit this weekend.
@Farmboy74
Got you, if you didn't know already, the difficulty level is always adjustable on the fly in the options menu......this ain't Bloodborne, no shame in knocking it down a tab if your stuck.
Fire Emblem Fates!
I wish the entire world would play this game and see what they've been missing
I've been caning Nuclear Throne, and I love it... but the crashes are ruining it for me. Every time I get to the penultimate level there's a fatal error. So gutted. Hopefully there's a patch soon.
Literally no time, but the time I've had has been spent on Rocket League (with da crew) Lego Marvel mopping up the characters and Hotline Miami trying to find all the puzzle bits.
If you don't play HM for a while your skills disintegrate.
As for Fallout and other huge games after mgs v I just cant be bothered. Committing huge amounts of time to trivial open work pursuits really does take a back seat if you have family, jobs, friends and events going on. I really wish we had 26 hours in every day.
As I continue to strive for 100 percent completion in Just Cause 3, I just need to get all the MODs and I'll be finished. While I do that, I'll also be putting time in at night to play the game I got the second it came out at night, Pokemon Blue on my 3DS. And during the day I'll be playing NBA 2K16, Halo 5, and Madden 16. Great weekend ahead.
Catching up on my ps vita backlog an playing "sound shape".
On the ps4, dragon quest heros.
Ive jumped back into The Witcher again to continue my death march playthrough. I'm on Skellige looking for the Sunstone so not far to go now.
Having not played it for a while I've noticed how much smoother it is to play and forgot how beautiful it all looks. I'll say it, this is the best game I've played in my entire life.
@Draythedestroyer playing exactly the same games! Street Fighter V and Final Fantasy VII.
Plus I am re-playing Bayonetta 2 (OMG that game is so good) on WiiU when my bf is using the TV to watch football or play PES.
@JaxonH I wish Nintendo would give us european a release date so I can plan my future life around the release of the game.
Couldn't play Helldivers online so I played a little bit of Rocket League, Toukiden Kiwami and SFV.
I feel you! Witcher 3 is probably in my top 3 games of all time, with Civilization 4 and Burnout 3: Takedown (maybe C&C: Red Alert 2 as well).
Amazing game, just one question though....when will @get2sammyb complete it?
@get2sammyb Sooooo, you're playing Mortal Kombat X, right? xD
For me this weekend has been Smite and PVZGW2 having a blast with both
Ps4 Digimon Cyber Sleuth (it's so good)
3ds Fire Emblem Fates/Project X Zone 2
Ps4-Smite and One Piece Pirate Warriors 3
Vita- Danganronpa and Hyperdimension Rebirth 1 if you can get passed all the fan service it is really fun.
@Feena that reminds me I need to finish Bayonetta 2. The problem is everytime I switch on the WiiU I just want to play as Cloud in smash and dream of a kindom hearts style JRPG but with Nintendo IP's.
PC: Dying Light Enhanced Edition
it's a brilliant, brutal, enjoyable, addictive zombie slayer game. love it. the game is a full package, it has more content that many recent games combined. Techland is a respectful developer especially after all it's supports for Dying Light for free.
Digimon Cyber Sleuth for me. Such a fun and addictive game. Have barely been able able to put it down since buying it.
Got close to buying Pokemon Yellow as well, but didn't want to split focus too much. These megas aren't going to get stronger themselves!
Going to be starting Yakuza 4. Spent the last couple of months playing the earlier titles - so good.
Yup - played some Just Dance 2016. It's not as good as the previous games with all the changes made to accommodate JD Unlimited and the removal of World Dance Floor, but the core gameplay still has that Just Dance quality. Hope they get it back on the upswing with JD2017...
