A bit of regurgitated news regarding The Division is doing the rounds today, and because we're sitting twiddling our thumbs waiting to clock off and play Street Fighter V, we figured that we'd share it. Basically, it's been re-confirmed that DLC for Ubisoft Massive's loot-'n'-shooter will arrive 30 days late on the PlayStation 4. This is because Microsoft has a deal with the game in place.
To be honest, we don't think that it's going to do too much to dull the PS4 player base, and seeing as there's no cross-platform play, it's not really a big deal at the end of the day. In other news, the French publisher put out a commercial for the release earlier in the week. It's freakin' horrendous.

Didn't phill spencer say they were going to do no more third party deals
What a pile that trailer is. I wouldn't mind so much if you knew the game was going to have an emotionally engaging story but we all know it won't come close.
@SKC_Diamond Phil Spencer said Xbox would be cutting back on 3rd Party deals to focus more on 1st party exclusives but he said that 3rd Party deals will still continue IF its right for Xbox. By this he means that games that are not in direct competition with their own 1st party games I assume.
The Division was announced long before this statement anyway.
Yeah, trailer is horrendous. I cancelled my pre order already. It's not an rpg and it's not a shooter. It's also not open world, it's a large maze of closed off structures and it's all a lovely shade of dull. I'm gonna try again during the open beta and see if it turns me but since the first Beta my enthusiasm has ebbed away
Not that big of a deal to me, oh well. I'm still not even sure if i'll bother with The Division yet. This weekend's open beta might be able to change my mind though. Hopefully reviews for the game don't take too long to come out, unlike Destiny.
Oh no I'm going to have to buy an xbone now because I can't wait 30 days for content which will offer 10% of the base games content for 30% of its price. Man, I'm so jaded when it comes to DLC these days.
Have it on pre order yay!! Very much looking forward to the open beta!!!! I was alone on the closed beta and really enjoyed it so with friends I'm hoping it's going to be ace!!!
it's 30 days so it's bugger all
still any type of exclusivity on DLC for multiplatform games is still dumb
Thought the game was being delayed or something like that. 30 Days is not long to wait so not really an issue. Enjoyed the game a lot and looking forward to playing it again at the weekend with more players this time.
what irks me about this trailer is how everyone dies with one or two bullets whereas the beta has everyone being sponges. Absorbing bullets like anything.
"This video is not available."
Must have been really bad.
I'm in the US if that matters.
Well MS needed something since they lost the CoD 30 day DLC deal.
Meh, it's only 30 days, and with Dark Souls 3, Odin Sphere, The Witch and the Hundred Knight, Stranger of Sword City, and Bravely Second all coming out March-June, it's not like I'll be lacking anything to play in the meantime.
Will do what I always do and wait for player reviews before buying The Division. Been caught by hype too many times in the past. Had to stop playing Destiny before TTK as they were bleeding me dry with DLC prices; this looks like it might be similar.
