Square Enix has already invested about a bajillion dollars into Final Fantasy XV, so a few more won't hurt, right? It announced during an event this evening that the game will be getting its own anime prequel series - starting today. You'll be able to watch the first episode of Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV on YouTube imminently, which will flesh out the relationship between protagonist Noctis and his band of brothers.
The series will consist of five ten minute episodes, with a sixth launching as part of the game's collector's edition. Remember, there's a movie coming as well. This is what we in the business call "betting the farm". Bloody hell!

So is the whole series going to be put on YouTube, or just the first episode?
JRPGs needs more bromance and less pink haired heroines. Seriously what's up with the pink. Star Ocean, Tales of...heck even FF had a pink haired heroine. =P
@Jake3103 ithe whole lot is going to be on youtube and crunchyroll apparently
@FullbringIchigo @Jake3103 Except for the 6th episode which will be exclusive to the Collector's Edition, right?
@ToddlerNaruto @Jake3103 yes the 6th episode is only in the Ultimate Collectors Edition but according to the EU press conference it's just a recap/clip episode anyway so it's not important
also apparently in japan it IS getting a blu-ray/DVD release and it will include English subs so as Japan and the UK have the same DVD region code if we don't get a release i'll just import it
@FullbringIchigo Do we know yet if Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV will be English Dubbed?
@ToddlerNaruto no word yet but i think i read somewhere that they are thinking about it
still a sub only version would be fine too after all Episode of Denzel on Advent Children Complete was sub only
@FullbringIchigo I'm just so used to the English voices, but if I have to I'll watch it with Japanese voices and English subtitles.
