If you do pick up Day of the Tentacle, do yourself a favour and play it in the old school, low res mode. It looks so much better than the ugly new art style.
The day Sony close down Evolution and there is still DLC being added for Driveclub, sad day...
@Dodoo
@get2sammyb If anything with PSVR on the horizon I thought they'd be hiring and adding to their teams, not making them smaller...
Must resist new shiny things PSN Easter Sale left me with three new games to play two of which I haven't even touched yet.
@Dodoo I think playstation is going to support drive club from now on
@RawShark it looks great imo I never played the original thou
@SKC_Diamond Yeah I was playing it on CD-Rom back when it was first released. Back when we could barely believe our computers could actually talk! I was there, man! I was there!
The main thing for me is that while they've redrawn the sprites, they haven't added any new frames of animation (and there weren't many in the first place), so it actually makes it look worse when it moves. But it might just be that it's different, and I have a very strong connection to how it used to look.
At any rate, it's an amazing title if you like the old school point & click adventure games. Arguably one of the best.
@RawShark well I liked broken age and this looks about the same
@SKC_Diamond oh yeah this'll be right up your alley then. Enjoy!
I've played Grim Fandango remastered on ps4 and had to leave it unfinished because of game breaking bugs. I've read that Day of the Tentacle has technical problems, with big loading times on some screens. Anybody tried it on ps4?
Anyone know if more will be added to the easter sale or is that it?
Great sale anyway. Got a good few games, but want more lol
