We almost unleashed our musou attack when we heard that there was some big Dynasty Warriors news, but it's sadly not the announcement that we were expecting. Indeed, there's no sign of Dynasty Warriors 9 just yet, although we'd argue this still makes for a pretty interesting reveal.
Koei Tecmo has announced that it'll be partnering with Hong Kong-based movie studio China 3D in order to bring Dynasty Warriors to the big screen. Shooting will begin next year, and it'll be released across various Asian regions in 2018.
The whole thing sounds like a good fit to us, seeing as Omega Force's hack and slash franchise already features so much over-the-top action. With any luck, this could actually end up being a decent watch.

I have a feeling they might try to cast Donnie Yen.
CGI?? Yes!!
Live-Action?? NO, NO, NO ... Just No!!
Well there's already a lot of films that tell the RotTK story. Maybe this'll be more crazy than the others, like Red Cliff with more backflips.
