Rockstar stealth released Bully, the legendary PlayStation 2 boarding school simulator, on the PlayStation 4 this week – and we've squeezed into our old uniform in order to put it through its paces. This port packs upgraded visuals and full Trophy support – but beware: the controls haven't exactly aged gracefully.

The controls are awful but I'm really, really enjoying replaying this. Great music, great writing, and some interesting ideas - I love the seasons, for example - make this one of my favourite Rockstar games.
Still have my collectors edition that came in a locker looking box and a Dodge ball I never inflated lol. Don't recall what else came in there but man I loved this game. Trophy hunting is making me want to double dip even though my ps2 is running as good as new and can always just pop this sucker in
Never gave this one a spin back in the PS2 days, but I remember my brother absolutely loving it. If I can get over the visuals I may give it a spin.
Played it for the first time on the 360 back in 2008 and remember hating the controls then so I'm sure I'd be beyond frustrated with those now but it is great game if you can get past that flaw. A sequel would be cool.
@get2sammyb I just replayed GTA Vice City and San Andreas on ipad with a Bluetooth gamepad, so the controls actually seem great in comparison. The visuals however look like they are having double vision half the time. The game is still one of Rockstar's best in my opinion. Here's to hoping for Bully 2!
@Ps4all Yeah, the draw distance is horrible by modern standards. Everything that's more than a few feet away is blurred out.
Now i really wonder why i never picked this up. I mean i remembered being interested, jus curious what stole the spotlight at the time. The draw distance is upsetting, it will be like replaying gta iv after finishing V. But I've been in a ps2 mode lately so F it, im going to lukies n buying it now.
Only the controls put me off slightly, the rest is great, enjoyed the live stream. Probably wait until it hits that magical 5 quid mark.
The controls would make me mad...If it weren't Bully! I love this game, I'm trying not to play too much of it.
@SonuvLiberty wasn't there a GTA out around the same time maybe , hazy memories.
Edit- I've worked it out Battlefield 2 released on PC , think I played that solid for about 3 years !
@MinerWilly who knows definetly wasnt a pc game tho ive been on the sony bandwagon since i was a wee lad. So many good games came out back then its hard to say..
