A collective sigh of relief was let out around the Push Square office this afternoon as SEGA revealed that Yakuza 0 will be coming to Europe after all. Previously, the prequel was only confirmed for a North American launch in the West, which understandably had European fans a little on edge.
The good news doesn't stop there, either, as the Japanese publisher has also stated that the game will actually be getting a physical release. Let's hope that the box art doesn't cause any controversy, eh?
Kazuma Kiryu's origin story will be releasing in "early" 2017, so we've still got quite a while to wait before we can hit the disco as Kamurocho's most badass debt collector. Until then, let us know if you're looking forward to Yakuza 0, and make like it's the 1980s in the comments section below.

Hype!
ok who else would LOVE a HD remaster of the ENTIRE series for PS4?
@FullbringIchigo I'll take what I can get when it comes to this franchise to be honest. So happy this one is coming out.
Really looking forward to this! Plus, I really like how Kiryu looks in Yakuza 0.
What do you mean by box art controversy?
@viciousarcanum SEGA got blasted by many a fan for Yakuza 3's box art, which, to be fair, was pretty bad.
@JoeBlogs Dear me, imagine how many "Top 10 Controversial Box Art" YouTube videos that would make.
That's good, but is NA getting a physcial copy too? I don't want to have to download another Yakuza game. I had to make soooo much free space for Yakuza 5.
@shonenjump86 As far as we know, yeah, it is.
Anything that doesn't have a brown haired guy with stubble holding a gun is still an improvement. lol
Yay! Now I just hope sega has hired a skilled team to do HD versions of Shenmue 1&2 while we wait for number 3....
