If you're looking for something new to play but don't have any money, then quit your fretting: the full selection of March PlayStation Plus freebies are available now – in Europe, at least. Those of you in North America may have to be patient until the PlayStation Store updates a little later in the evening, but you shouldn't have to wait too long.
For those unsure of what's included in the line-up this time, you're getting Vote to Play winner Broforce and smash shmup Galak-Z on the PlayStation 4. Firefighting roguelike Flame Over is also currently available for the new-gen system – you may want to pounce on that quick, as it was only supposed to be free for the Vita.
In addition to the above, PlayStation 3 owners will nab oldie but goodie Super Stardust HD and The Last Guy, while augmented reality brawler Reality Fighters rounds out the full selection. What will you be playing first, then? Are you still angry and upset about the offering? Try to be polite in the comments section below.

Anyone had a look at what the Xbox folks are getting?
@xX_RiscazZ_Xx better than this in my honest opinion. I don't hate Indies but that's all Sony gives us anymore :/ Xbox gets for Xbox One Sherlock Holmes, and Lords of the fallen and on 360 supreme commander 2 and Borderlands 1.
@Alpha @KratosMD Yeah, I knew which ones they got, that was why I was asking. It is in the best interest of Sony to keep this sort of offer going, and to be honest it's not like they have any competition going on with Xbox in this, no one is joining because of the GWG offer, comparatively with IGC.
But I'm not wrong in assuming bot of those titles actually had a physical release, right?
I'm quite happy with BroForce, Galak-Z should be fun too, but where are the meaty titles?
Have to admit I'm clicking the download button with a resigned sigh this time around as the titles get beamed directly into my backlog, most likely never to be seen again.
@xX_RiscazZ_Xx I didn't buy Gold or PS+ for the free games BUT if I had to pick or cancel one or the other based on the free games offered, I would pick Gold because it consistently offers more games and better quality that I want to play and as the 360 games are Backwards Compatible - it also increases its 'value' to me. Even the 'worst' game from my perspective on Gold appeals a lot more than the 'best' on IGC.
Like I said though, I didn't buy either for the games and certainly won't be cancelling them either. Both are needed to play all aspects of 90% of my games and certainly needed for games I intend to buy in the future too. If I didn't need to buy for online gaming, I certainly wouldn't be tempted by the IGC - not just this month but looking back over the past year for a guideline on the type of games offered. GwG in my opinion has been a lot better and would be more tempting - not just this month but over the past year too. I could easily see myself getting more 'value' from Gold. By value, I am not referring to the actual cost of each game. A £45 game has no value if you don't want or play it.
As I'm no longer some elitist douchebag that uses "indie" as a snarl word for "any game I don't like," I'm looking forward to these. Mostly, though, Galak-Z and Broforce. I will try all the rest. Already have Super Stardust on the Vita, so I might skip that one.
@Alpha for what it's worth, Sony had already given away Sherlock Holmes and borderlands on PS3. The only downside is they aren't playable on the ps4 and some may have missed them.
Yay Galax-z 9/10 rated by pushsquare.
Instant win.
Also @get2sammyb rated flame over and reality fighters at 7 and 6 I think so a good line up for me.
@JoeBlogs I doubt GwG itself would have existed had Plus not been created. Plus itself may not have existed either had it not been for Gold. However this gen, I would say that Gold itself hasn't 'dropped' in its quality and value but plus has. Plus is now a necessity to play online - something that wasn't required on PS3 and also the quality of games has dropped too. I certainly don't see an 'improvement' well not a significant one on PSN - something that was 'free' before so overall the value of PS+ has significantly dropped.
GwG was considered 'worse' than PS+ but Xbox owners were paying primarily for online gaming. Most Gold subscribers were paying before GwG or PS+ were available. So whilst the games themselves often weren't as good, they were seen more as a bonus and are totally free - not tied to maintaining a subscription. The services themselves were very different. PS+ was much more 'optional'.
This gen though, they are basically identical. Both are needed to play online and both IGC and GwG require you to maintain your subscription to keep playing the games. As such its much easier to compare the two. GwG hasn't really 'upped' its game as such - obviously the BC has added more to it but the games offered are no different in general to the games offered last gen. Its more that PS+ has dropped its game
@RawShark This is how its been for the last two years for me, its getting to the point that I maybe click the Add to Library for a single title (its almost not even worth that anymore). If Online Cloud Saves were not a PS+ only feature, I would have dropped PS+ long ago, it has long outlived its usefulness, and all games that I play online on the PS4 do not require PS+ (like FFXIV).
I keep holding out hope that the PS+ titles will get back to their glory days, but I am not holding my breath.
Bro force is an absolute ton of fun in couch co-op...especially if you are old enough to remember the movies the bros came from
I think I like indies more than a lot of people but, with those titles, I'd rather pay xbox live gold if I had xbox one.
with this month's lineup I think ISPs have nothing to worry about
FML forgot to download lemmings last month xD
Can't believe I'll have to spend 10 euros on that game xD (yeah I know, but I must have an obsessive compulsive disorder cause I did this with Papo and Yo even thou I never played it LOL)
Anyway, excited as f to play Broforce
So the 2 games, which didn't win the vote, are not being released yet? Last time they were released the same day and had a discount for plus members.
Broforce is pretty good (I slagged it off I know but I was wrong) but it's a bit buggy for one of my friend's he can't seem to join our game but the campaign is pretty fun coop, not tried Galak yet. As for if it's worth the money, i'm not really fussed as I see the £5 a month a hobbyational hazard to play my game's online i've paid it for year's on LIVE before PS4 so it doesn't bother me much, I can see people's grievance's though with the constant indie's but it would be daft to not download them and give them a go, Broforce is fun.
This is a better month in my eyes as we get one game that is new BroForce & a game without extra Plus Members DLC Galak-Z
Last Month's Helldivers was a SLAP in the face to almost everyone who already Purchased it. In the US it came with two DLC packs & changed the game as they all got the Ranger to find stuff and Terrain to walk faster in snow & swamps.
Even though we had plus too we were ineligible for the DLC on this Sony published game.
I have been ok with games I purchased becoming free as they got the same thing I purchased & this was the first time I can remember a plus game coming with DLC that was a SLAP in the face to those who already Purchased.
No free SFV theme for NA. :/
Tried all three on PS4 and only Galak Z has survived an initial play. BroForce seemed pointless and didn't like controls (maybe better suited to a keyboard, I don't know) and Flame Over was just awful at everything. Possibly the worst month of PS+ in a long while.
Galak Z's pretty good, the punishment for death though is severe, you pretty much lose everything if you die once in the first 5 mission's after the intro mission.
Did anyone else get " I am alive " for free as a ps plus title? They did change back to that super stardust game. I know they did this another month with those history games. Just wondering if it is going to be a mistake every month.
