Last week, we reported on a Japanese Final Fantasy XV livestream featuring director Hajime Tabata. That stream's now come and gone, and as it turns out, the big news from the broadcast is that the next Active Time Report has been given a date. We'd make a joke about announcements of announcements, but hey, we've got to cut Square Enix some slack at some point.
In any case, the next information drop on the upcoming role-playing game will be happening on the 21st April. As per usual, we'll be hosting the stream here live on Push Square if we can get our hype-riddled hands on it.

My only problem with the fabulousness of the hairdos (kind of a FF staple) is that it clashes with the "realistic" setting. Those are some high maintenance hair styles! I can't see them pulling them off on the road...but it's not like Cloud's or Sephiroth's hair scream efficiency either, and they were soldiers...I wonder of much conditioner Sephiroth uses!
So there was a livestream today featuring Tabata and Sakaguchi, apparently gooch was too drunk and called Kitase a bad producer, LOL.

@sagi I kinda hope it's not true because all this sakaguchi appearances made me hope he would direct XVI if asked...his games have been hit and miss since Lost Odyssey.
@Feena Nah he didn't really mean it to disrespect Kitase, he just said he was a good developer but a bad producer (which i can agree with) but he was praising Tabata a lot calling him a great developer/producer/manager, he actually asked him to join his development team (Mistwalker).
@ekreig Oh man I really like that fist magnet line, gonna have to steal that one for sure!
So are they just going to give us updates every couple weeks until it releases? It seems like they REALLY want to convince fans that it isn't going to be delayed anymore, WE PROMISE! Lol, this is turning into a joke and I honestly think a couple months without any news or updates and just getting alot of work done is the best thing for this. (Is it just me or does Noctis look a little like a black haired Ryan Gosling?)
The frame rate in this game is so bad. It needs some serious optimization. Digital foundry's analysis of the demo was depressing. Framerate is around 20 when fighting a boss...
