Who cares about release dates, eh? According to various sources, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has gone on sale well before the 10th May, its official launch date. Reports began last night, when German publication PCGames.de pointed out that Amazon Germany is already dispatching the game to those who have pre-ordered it. Likewise, ThisGenGaming.com reported that Amazon US is currently doing the exact same thing. An honest mistake? A crafty scheme? Tough to say, and it's worth mentioning that the title was originally going to release today before it was delayed, but nothing changes the fact that Naughty Dog's latest is now out there in the wild.
What's even more worrying, however, is that VideoGamer has received evidence that the title is on sale right now at CEX, a UK retailer. The website's been in contact with an individual known as Shabz, who has provided pictures of the game's casing and a receipt from the store.
Shabz recalls the purchase: "I went in to CEX... to actually buy myself a camera lens, and when I went to the counter to purchase the lens I saw behind the shop assistant that there was Uncharted 4 so as a try I said can I also get a copy of Uncharted 4, he just picked it up and rang it through the till. The game cost £55." Madness.
Shabz also says that the game's single player campaign "is so far running fine", but can't access the title's multiplayer component, which makes sense at this point, as we doubt that the servers will be going live for a while yet, and there'll probably be a day one patch available before the official release date rolls around.
Dare we ask if you've seen Uncharted 4 for sale? Has your order been shipped, perhaps? Pray that we're not swamped with spoilers in the comments section below.

Annoys me when this happens. Broken street dates are just a bummer all around. Yes, a few lucky people get the game early, but it massively increases the potential for spoilers.
Meanwhile, fans are left twiddling their thumbs while the game sits in most stores' back rooms.
Why is the release date 10th May if copies are already out in the wild?
I think it is a retailing ploy to encourage pre-orders. People think they might get it early and then log on to pre-order...
Just hope nobody give the plot away. At least they can't get a head start on multiplayer.
I bought Uncharted 3 around a week early and add completed it, all treasures found, before the 'official' release date. Its not the 'only' game I have ever had 'early' but I have never known anyone getting a game 2wks early. I know some people on 'tills' have no idea about release dates - they just receive 'stock' and put it out.
Its not difficult to avoid spoilers before a game comes out - you don't have to click on articles or video's!
@gingerfrog People will try, don't worry. If this does become widely available, it's going to be spoiler city for the next two weeks.
@gingerfrog it's probably all on Wikipedia already
i just hope that the comments section on here are policed to stop spoilers
@FullbringIchigo Of course, I don't want to be spoiled just like you guys.
@get2sammyb
If this keeps the Uncharted tradition we already know the story, as all three games follow the exact same template.
Anyway, lucky dogs to be already playing it.
Seems mine isn't one of the lucky ones, still all fer the best, since I'm skint.
Right thats it social media blackout
I've just chanced a pre-order from amazon.es to see if it ships immediately/early; it's saying the 9th but you never know. Already got it pre-ordered from the PSN in any case.
@get2sammyb
What would push squares policy be in this case? Would you ignore all spoilers or have a spoiler tag headline?
Already signed out of all social media accounts.
@Fight_Teza_Fight We wouldn't cover spoilers like that.
@Neolit I was thinking the exact same thing, all I have is a countdown timer alongside Ratchet and Clank to comfort me
@get2sammyb Good to know. At least that's one safe place on the internet I can visit during those down times at work
@sinalefa are they lucky dogs, or naughty dogs? (someone had to say it! Haha)
GAME in Northampton always break the street date. It's a bit dodgy, you have to pay in cash, and they never run it through the till, and you can't get a receipt! The manager there has been doing this for years. I just popped in and they are selling UC4 right now.
Well, crap. So much for delays.
I guess I would say good for others that can play it now, as long as they don't go online and ruin it for everyone else.
It's doubtful, but I'm thinking about popping into my local GameStop just to see if it's there.
My youtube blackout begins earlier than expected...
My Amazon pre-order says that it will be shipping soon and that it will be delivered today! I would not be too worried about spoilers, even if I wasn't getting the game today. Just avoid reading comment sections about the game and you should be fine. Stop reading this!
@Rook909 Amazon .com .co.uk or .de or other? My .es one from above still hasn't changed tho I have had the confirm after the 30 minute window where you can change things.
@Drawfull Mine is from Amazon.com in the US. Hope yours goes through soon!
@617Sqn Woolworths used to do that
what they do is hold on to it and put it through the system on release date (i know someone who used to work there)
@Rook909 Ah, thanks. The shipping the states will ruin it for me: I have prime on my Spanish and UK Amazon and they both tend to ship from the same distribution hubs so I order from whichever is the cheapest.
Never know though, hopefully I'll wake up to a nice dispatched email!
^^^
And he's not even sorry.
@Drawfull UPDATE: Amazon just sent me an email with a boilerplate statement that they received new information from the publisher and that the "new" release date is May 10 Ah well, back to Ratchet & Clank.
@Rook909
I better stay away from any Uncharted 4 videos just to be on the safe side.
Wow, hey, great job ND. Clearly the game didn't need to be pushed back if every retailer already has their copies. If they learn anything from this experience, i hope it's how to properly make a game without delaying it 4 times.
Happens a lot with CEX and also smaller retailers who sell the game before the release dates for higher prices
IM a little salty about this.
@get2sammyb This was so widespread with little big planet vita here in the us when it launched that Sony just gave up and released it early.
@Neolit yeah I've just started my second playthrough and it's probably the most fun I've had on PS4 thus far, now I'm addicted to upgrading the weapons
I thought CEX only sold preowned games?
I got mgs phantom pain early on preorder, pretty smug feeling. But 2 weeks is taking the mick.
@mcnoisy yeah it is preowned games so not sure how it happens but often see call of duty and fifa there before the release dates sold at premium prices.

Well,i guess i'm a sucker for punishment - But this doesn't concern me..Never been an Uncharted fan 123 or 4 no matter.i just don't like the core gameplay mechanics.Sorry if that's a bit blasphemous.I'm happy fans seem to be really into it.Have fun (When you can get your mitts on it!)
Let's all hope these people aren't stupid who like to spoil.
Please watch the language -Tasuki-
On a couple of occasions a game I've pre-ordered has turned up a day before release and my account says it's arriving tomorrow but never two weeks early! I'll be careful of spoilers now
Sorry accidently pressed report button on someone's comment
There is an indie shop near me that is no doubt selling it early, then. They seem to let everything go early there. Can't really blame them with a Game, CeX and HMV etc down the road. If it was a game I was particularly excited about I'd pay a visit to see but I reckon I can wait till release day on this.
I pre ordered on amazon. I am praying to the game gods for this game to come early lol
Are they able to play the multiplayer portion of the game?
What I surprised is many people still use physical. I thought digital is overwhelmingly main stream except for Japan.
Lucky, wish it happened to me the earliest I got a game was a week before release date. I won't be watching anything about uncharted 4 until I pop that disc into my ps4
Some guy on Twitter called @alex840 has gotten a copy off eBay for £90.
