The much anticipated PlayStation 4 firmware update v3.50 has launched around the world, weighing it at 299.7MB in size. Switching on your system should trigger the download immediately, but remember, you can tell your console to manage the entire update procedure behind-the-scenes – probably the best option if you don't want to be disrupted before you play.
This update brings with it a slew of new features, including the ability to appear offline, activate friend notifications, and use Remote Play on a PC or Mac. We'll have much more on the Musashi patch throughout the day, but feel free to share your knee-jerk thoughts in the comments section below.

@KratosMD It's the same on the Vita, it'll never be perfect because it's going through the Internet first. Slower paced games are perfectly playable, but yeah, faster stuff like Street Fighter will struggle.
@get2sammyb I find it unbelievable because my internet is 512kbs and I can still use remote play no prob for 60fps thou I have to scale back to 540p I played games like battlefront and battlefield and they are pretty bad with it but games like the ff15 demo and other slow pace games work fine on it the awesome hing is u can be on the other side of the world and it will work
@get2sammyb Yes fighting games are not playable in the Vita via internet remote play. However with the Vita I mostly use the direct a la Wii U (without the use of a wireless router) option and there is no noticeable lag. I have almost got he platinum in Dead or Alive, beat the story mode on Street Fighter 5, played online on Blazblue etc with no problem.
Thanks for the PC guide btw!
@SKC_Diamond whenever I try to access my PS4 using remote play anywhere other than my home network, it doesn't connect. You have to be on the same Internet connection to be able to use remote play. So as much as I would love to be able to play my PS4 on the other side of the world (or even just up the road at my mum's lol) It's just something that I don't believe is possible yet. Unless they've rectified it with this latest firmware update of course
