The Fallout 4 news is coming thick and fast this afternoon. Following the reveal of Far Harbor's release date and official trailer, Bethesda's reiterated that it still expects Update 1.5 - which includes the long awaited revamped survival mode - to launch this week on PlayStation 4.
The publisher says that the patch will likely be available to download this Friday on Sony's console, which means that you should be able to spend the weekend wasting away in the wasteland, if you so desire.
What are your plans for survival mode? Will you be starting a new game and experiencing things fresh? Bring some supplies to the comments section below.

Duuuude! Definitely going to be starting a new character for this. I'm playing toward the play right now and after that, things are gonna get grimey. Hahaha
Will be starting a new character this Friday then, i've been waiting for this. I might even buy the DLC now lol, it will be the first SP dlc i've ever purchased, great game I love's it
I'll be starting fresh from vault 111. I should try something new like a master of heavy guns and melee but I'll probably go with a sneaky sniper again because I always use V.A.T.S and it's just so satisfying exploding heads from large distances away.
Fallout 4 is an amazing game. Lots of variety: FPS, stealth exploration, gathering and a it gives you full creativity with the excellent settlement builder. These improvements are great, but not enough to make me return to the game. I loved the game and played it to death, but now I have to move on.
Yes it's in the devs interest to keep us playing the game so that the franchise remains relevant, but the only thing that will make me return to replay it with all these lovely improvements is if the devs released a free Neo optimisation patch, so I enjoy it again in higher quality like a free remaster on PS4 Neo.
@justerthought Can't help wondering whats going to happen with the Neo updates thing.i wanna play all the 30fps games at 60fps! But will we get that? Really hope so.
@special_donky @justerthought I'm honestly not expecting a full jump to 60fps - especially not for games like Fallout 4 or The Witcher 3. I think, if the PS4K rumoured specs are right, we're more likely to see minor improvements. A steadier frame rate at 30fps, slightly better draw distance, better textures - that sort of stuff.
