NA PSN Flash Sale Asks You to Surrender Your Wallet

This is definitely a large flash sale but seems a little weak to me.

Banner Saga for $5 compared to the over £6 it was on the UK store until a day or two ago? I think my US account is about to get some use.

War of the Monsters for $3.99 since my PS3 won't play our PS2 disc.

Why is TR called Digital Ed? I played probably about 80% of the game back when I had PS+ but never finished it. I'll pay $5 to see the ending.

Maybe DBZ:BoZ after I read some reviews.

Sometimes I think I buy this stuff just b/c I'm still waiting for 3 year old Luig's Mansion: Dark Moon and Lego City Undercover to drop from their original MSRP. Silly Nintendo. $20 for 6 year old Pokepark, um no.

Obligatory - Every game is under $5, but I need to put $5 on my CC to buy any of them. Good thing I want 2 or 3, b/c if I only wanted 1 I would walk away.. Though tax may put it over the top.

I'm not sure if Journey is worth the 4.49 USD.

It's a great game. I can share play some parts with you if you'd like. but it's a great game.

Nothing there that I want but don't yet have.

Damn, I just bought Dont Stave for $15 LAST NIGHT. Oh well, I'll grab entwined, grow home, flower, hitman go, and banner saga. I would grab Journey if the PS4 version was on sale.

Just got my PS4 last week so this is a great way to stock upon games!

@NintendoSony NEVER buy indies at full price unless you really want to support the developer. I bought Shovel Knight and Salt and Sanctuary day one, but it was more to support that kinda game then anything, though I enjoyed them a ton.

@lacerz Can anyone please confirm if buying the PS3 version of Journey will allow me to download the PS4 version? I only have a PS4.

@sketchturner First suggestion...check the PS4 listing. If under $5, voila!

EDIT: So I checked, and the PS4 listing is $14.99. However, the PS3 listing states that you get the PS4 version with purchase.

I called sony and they credited my acct with $10 so thats good!

Bought banner saga, are there any new info on ps vita version, wish it's cross-buy.

I do love me a NA flash sale pretty much the only time I buy games is in flash sales or when games are newly released. Sadly my internet which is normally bad at 2mb is now down to 0.04 so impossible even to load the webpage to see what's on sale.

@get2sammyb Thanks, might become the answer to the question - "what are you playing this weekend". Well if I can get the 15GB downloaded before the weekend is over.

Terrible sale, but I'm actually fine with that. Too many games coming out across different platforms to worry about being tempted by another sale.

To the people saying that it's a terrible sale... what exactly do you want for less than five dollars?

Jackbox series is great! We have party pack 2 already, and I will definitely be picking up pack 1. Lots of fun and it doesn't require multiple controllers because people can use their cell phones, tablets, computers, etc as controllers.

@sketchturner please tell me if you realize if you get the ps4 version buying Journey. I don't have a ps3 and just want the ps4 game.

Great price for Killzone. I traded mine in a while back but I think I will pay 2.50 to run through the campaign again. Criminally underrated game imo.

@jmbenetti I only have a PS4 so I bought Journey (PS3) on my phone and I was able to download the PS4 version for free on my system.

So I finally got Journey thanks to the sale. Must be the most overrated game I've ever played. It's so boring! I pretty much just held forward for an hour, occasionally tapping X. And then it was over.
What did I miss? What makes this an emotional experience?

A few scenes were artistically nice but the game did not feel like the special experience people have told me that it is. And yes I played alongside a few other people online. Didn't see anything special about that either.
