Bethesda has shown off a new entry in the Prey series coming to the PlayStation 4 in 2017. Developer Arkane Austin is in charge of the game and it is currently unknown whether this is a sequel, reboot, or re-imagining of the 2006 title of the same name. However, as this new release doesn't have a number in the title, it's safe to say that it most likely is not a sequel.
Prey is set in the year 2032 and will see players attempt to survive an alien threat aboard a space station in first-person combat. Bethesda plans to show more of Prey and reveal further information at QuakeCon in August. You can check out the reveal trailer above.

Prey ended on a cliffhanger and then just nothing.
Compared to Prey 2 (2011 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaxXJ0J4Zlc in case you missed it), this reboot looks a bit generic - As if I have seen it somewhere before and nothing at all like the original concept for the 2nd game - unfortunately. I know Prey 2 was only a CGi trailer but its the concept it was exploring that was most interesting and what appealed to me but this just left me trying to figure where I had seen this before - Dead Space? Maybe a bit, Aliens: Colonial Marines (an essence of from one of their trailers/game play) - certainly a reminder... Early days I know but when you want a glass of water and get a jacobs cracker, its disappointing...
So.. Some guy called Morgan who doesn't get enough sleep, is trigger happy with a shotgun and likes wearing leather. Cool?
I dunno, I kinda like the horror slant that this seems to take. Could be cool but hard to tell at this point.
Sci-fi horror blaster, works for me!
it's a reboot
I prefer the concept of the cancelled PREY 2...
i don't even know what Prey is? Is it like 2017 version of Doom?
