Want to see a bit more of upcoming movie tie-in Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV? You're in luck if so, because IGN's got its hands on a new behind-the-scenes video that shows off some new footage - and, quite frankly, it looks ridiculous.
Of course, we already knew that the project looked gorgeous - this is Square Enix and CG we're talking about - but it's nice to be reminded of such craftsmanship. We also get a peek at the inner workings of the project, with interview clips playing a part. Not a bad watch if you're interested in the movie, which will actually be shown in select cinemas on the 19th August.

Wow, that was pretty awesome. Looking forward to this, probably even more than the game.
Why can't more movies based on games be like this instead of live action? I understand it takes a lot of time and work to flesh everything out like this compared to filming people acting and working things in afterwards, but you can do so much more and make certain scenes way truer to the source material this way.
What a year to be a Final Fantasy fan!
Looks decent, the acting was a bit meh
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Must be kind of hard to deliver a award-winning performance when you have to say lines like "The crystal will not serve you!"
Final Fantasy in movie theatres you say? I'm sure this is going to go very well.
Have they announced a 4k version yet? Xbox One S is making me nervous. Not next year's Scopio, this years $299 little white 4k streaming box.
When Lena Headey says Kingsglaive you can almost hear her stutter trying not to say King's Landing.
Has to be one of the easiest jobs of her career as they tell her - "Just be Cersi."
Looks even better then Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and even that looked fantastic.
