At this point we'd love to know how much money Square Enix has pumped into Final Fantasy XV and all of its expanded universe stuff, but it looks like the Japanese publisher's not done yet. Alongside the game's release on the 30th September, you'll be able to get your hands on A King's Tale: Final Fantasy XV, a PlayStation 4 title which appears to be a sidescrolling, retro-styled brawler. Didn't see that one coming.
The beat-'em-up follows the tales of King Regis, Noctis' dad, as he hacks monsters to bits with swords and spells. There's a catch, however, in that the game will only be available to those who pre-order Final Fantasy XV in North America and Canada from GameStop or EBgames. We're still waiting on European details.

Nothing stops this train.
Weird but I might end up getting it. I might want to see it in action.
hope it comes to the uk, already got FFXV preordered , THIS looks like streets of rage meets final fantasy XD
Can't wait for FFXV but it just can't come fast enough, the fatigue started setting in and that's not good months before launch.
Already preordered FFXV on Amazon forever ago. This does look fun though.
Its like streets of rage 1 when you can smack bad guys into holes in the floor!
This is pure lunacy! I won't complain about free stuff though
Hope they eventually put it up for sale. My 10 year old son keeps hoping Noctis' dad would be a playable character. He would love to play this, but I'm already getting a decent discount on amazon, and this isn't enough to change.
